Shawbrook have just released issue 32 of their Easy Access account, paying 2.92% AER...

Shawbrook Easy Access Account - Issue 32

    2.92% annually / 2.88% monthly (variable)
    £1,000 minimum opening balance
    £500 minimum withdrawal
    Open and manage account online
Next working day access to your funds if withdrawn online before 9:30pm
    Finally!

but I just logged into my account and it’s still showing the old rate of 2.3% still…..
I would keep an eye on your emails and online banking messages to see whether they're going to increase the rate on previous issues or, as suggested above, just contact them and 'upgrade' your account to the current issue.

You can message Shawbrook online requesting change of EA account.
You need minimum £1k to get the full rate.
My £1 in Issue 29 was getting 0.05%.
Did you have to deposit the full £1k first ?

The ranked easy access accounts list, ToTP, just updated.
Observation: There'll likely be 3 drop offs this week leaving Al Rayan's 2.85% in 10th ...and vulnerable to relegation.

Yes, it's a minimum opening balance of £1k. You can subsequently go lower (minimum withdrawal £500) but won't then get top rate of interest.
If you're asking whether you can do a test £1 payment, I can't recall. If they return it then that demonstrates you had the correct details so you can confidently send £1k to see that before doing any more. Or do £1k very very carefully, triple check and check again!

How do you determine the positions of equivalent AERs?

Have a look over on the Budgeting board, there’s a Kroo thread. Not very busy. They use faster payments like all banks. What will happen if the MSE Massive hits them is anyone’s guess.
App locked up after verifying my phone number and entered some of my details. Now won't let me sign up as details already entered, when trying to login it refuses to text me.
