Creating new issues was also a means to manage that in a different way, i.e. trying to gain new deposits without increasing existing costs proportionally.
So no doubt they'll do new issues again in the future.
I checked my issue 54 and it was showing still 2.75% (although might change tomorrow 🤷)0 -

Note: Cynergy rarely apply their new rates to existing accounts. And they don't keep the new accounts available for long... so if the rate etc. suits you, best get your application in early and at least £1 min foot in the door..0 -
infoadict said:Just registered with the CHIP app to enable me to transfer money into the Instant Access Savings @ 3%, when their bonus changes to interest on 11th February. Not sure if this is common knowledge (not seen it mentioned on here - just the possible Topcashback) reward, but they are offering various bonuses ranging from £10 on a £5,000 deposit up to £50 on a £20,000 deposit, to new customers. You enter the appropriate code on your app before 30th January and I have up to the 31st July to make the deposit.Only snag is you have to keep the deposit in there for 6 months.
The return is paid monthly as a bonus, not interest. The return is not FSCS protected. Chip is not a bank so we pay out your return as a bonus instead of interest. This also allows us to be more flexible with the return we offer.

Open the new account and then do a "Internal Transfer and Close" in Online Banking to move the funds (plus interest) from the old to the new account.
