Hi. Does anyone know if Santander are going to update their ESaver (now miserable) rate from 2.75% ?Thank you for reading this message.0

Doubtful, considering the current eSaver is only 1.50%.I-LOV-MONEY said:Hi. Does anyone know if Santander are going to update their ESaver (now miserable) rate from 2.75% ?

Nope, the rate was fixed for 1 year I think. Despite not market leading anymore it offers incredible speed and flexibility 24/7 although I had a real nightmare until all was up and running and they blocked some larger moves at the beginning but now all is fine and still good to park funds here and there for a few days or even just over night sometimes.I-LOV-MONEY said:Hi. At 3.25% PA I am assuming the Coventry account is as good as it gets?1

The eSaver Special Edition's interest rate is actually variable - the 12 month term just refers to the amount of time you can hold the account before it reverts to a standard savings account.pecunianonolet said:

Once you have maxed out regular savers which allow withdrawals and barclays rainy day saver.TojoRalph said:At 3.25% PA I am assuming the Coventry account is as good as it gets?
YBS had a slightly better interest rate, but with even more restrictions than the Coventry six access but it's no longer available.
Although the Coventry account isn't either..

I'm still waiting since applying over 3 weeks ago. Did you get an email? I only had an on screen message to wait 'a few days' for the paperwork.csharppaul said:A quick query for anyone who's opened one of the Coventry BS Online 6 saver things (without already having an account with them).
I've had the forms through in the post after filling the the application form in on their website about 2 weeks back.0 -

You don't even need £1 in it. I've kept 1p in it for months and it's been fine.Band7 said:I would leave £1 in it1 -
I didn't bother to close my previous issue of the account and it's been happily sitting there with zero balance for many months.Bridlington1 said:
