Dear Mr Sunak,
We’re pleased to confirm we’re increasing the interest rate on your easy access account to 3.00% AER*.
Your rate will increase automatically on 23 January 2023 – you don’t need to do anything. All other terms and conditions of your account remain the same.
If your balance is under the minimum applicable to this account, the interest rate will remain at 0.10% AER*.
You can find the rates we pay (and previous rates paid) on all of our variable rate accounts in our on our website.
There’s no need to call us, your account will update automatically on the date above.Yours sincerely
Customer Service Team

* AER stands for annual equivalent rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if it was paid and compounded once each year. As every advertisement for a savings product will contain an AER you will be able to compare more easily what return you can expect from your savings over time.I 4 -

With the YBS Internet Saver going up to 3% next week it feels like now is the time to get the Chorley "Easy Access" Saver closed. The passbook finally arrived this morning, a month after the account was opened and funded.

@PragueAddick Thanks for that. So, unfortunately the email doesn't clarify anything. All we can tell is that it's applied to your (PA's) existing EA ac. Which issue(s) do you have?0

Issue 51 Easy Access re my previous entry3

I currently am a Charter Savings customer and am thinking about opening an Easy Access account. I've looked at the documentation but can't find an answer, but when you open the account online - I know there is a $5000 min deposit, but do you have to transfer the £5000 fund immediately to open the account, or can you set the account up and then fund it? If so how long do you have?Thanks0
