Ok....removing the last 2 digits of the santander ref numbers and subtracting gives 799.
Almost half of the FSWI switch value 1762 i got earlier.
    Could be i suppose.
Either way its a lot of £50 vouchers
Are we assuming the FSWI prefix is unique to Santander and isn't also used by other banks or do we know this to be true?

Colsten, I'm well aware who ultimately picks up the tab for this offer...

However....one shouldn't lose sight of the fact that this promotion's badly thought out terms of reference, and associated conditions, means that IMHO it is every true MSEr's duty to fully exploit this offer to the max.

In fact I would go further and say that to not do so would be bordering on rudeness. ;)

At the end of the day it is money coming back from Santander that is both unexpected and in my experience unprecedented.

I love the way MSEr's are working together on this very thread (and the associated referral thread) in a spirit of true co-operation to that very end! :T

Petty i know, but i view it as revenge for the halving of the interest rate on the full 123 account, ie serves them right if they severely miscalculated on the number of codes used...

I think the FSWI is used by other banks also using the CASS. So the FSWI value for the week 31/5 - 6/6 was calculated at 1762 using the FSWI reference numbers and the 799 was got from Santander 'our ref' numbers.
  • Hi has anyone else not had an email to confirm their switch completion?

My switch was due to complete on 5th June but I've still not received an email to confirm.
I have just spoken to the switching team and was told that they don't send out email confirmation.

She did say that the switch completed on 5th June.... is it safe to claim my Amazon vouchers?

What is the current situation with the switched accounts? One should be empty and the other's balance enhanced!
  • Can anyone tell me when i will receive my £50 voucher? i filled out a form.
Should i look in my email trash? Switch completion date is 10.6.19.

Yes, and the switched account has now been closed.
I've switched 10 accounts already and this is the first email that hasn't come through. It's probably got lost somewhere.

I suppose that if I hadn't opted in for email updates I would only have had the money transfer and closed account to go on.

You should get final details through the post as well as the email anyway. If the balance has transferred and the other account has closed on the date specified, then claim. The 7 day switch guarantee applies, it just seems the email has gone missing (did you get an email when they started the switch? If not, they may have missed ticking a box).

Within 30 days of you claiming using the RAF code and your switch reference (you can't start the claim until the switch has completed on 10/6).
