If everyone kept information to themselves in the fear that offers or deals would get pulled then there would be no need for much of this forum.0

It never ceases to amaze me that there appear to be people who seem to think banks are not able to read an open forum, especially a forum owned by Martin Lewis.
I was thinking earlier, bit my mouse tongue :rotfl:, we are all adults, we all think we are clever people yet there are some of us who try things on this subject whilst there are others who wait to see other peoples outcomes posted on this forum without even trying themselves.
I and others probably quietly tested 2 switches into 1 account and awaited the outcome whereas others were constantly asking will it work and speculating about this that and the other.0 -

Is there anything at all that slipped your mind to tell us, us being mostly names on a screen and maybe the Banks who may decide to restrict number of new accounts that can be opened by existing customers being as costs them money to issue debit cards etc.

No, think I covered it all thanks. Like I say the whole point of this forum is to share information, not be selfish with it.0

Just wondering if you did the applications all at the same time, or staggered? I'm assuming they also had no issue with you saying the account you had with another bank was only open for a month?
Why would you tell them how long it has been opened for? Account number, sort code, card number, expiry - that is all they ask for (on the online form, anyway)?0 -
There are drop down boxes asking how long the account you are switching has been open for. Years and months.0

People here work for all kind of organisations including Banks, Lloyds Bank as an example have permission to post here and will be keen to read what is said about it as will other Banks and companies.
Brutal reality is companies dont even need to read forums, this is just a googled example

As for the comment posted earlier by someone else about its what forums are for, not being selfish, from my experience it is already more difficult to open a few multiple accounts with some current account providers than it was a few years ago.
Facinating the definition of "selfish"
