Has anyone actually got their Amazon vouchers yet?

Both me and my wife's switch completed Wednesday, filled the forms in yesterday. I know 1 day isn't a lot, but this feels like a very manual process.

They would have been better spending a little extra time to automate everything so people are not waiting.

A manual/form filling process is better for the bank as some people will forget to claim or make a mistake.

I agree with you though, to improve customer satisfaction, they should send you the voucher automatically.

    Hello,

I was trying to open a Everyday account in order to switch another account and get the Amazon voucher but when I try to apply online on the Santander's website one of the requisite is that I need to have a 3 years UK address history and unfortunately I have got only 2 years.
    Is it a new requirement?
Because I have got 2 bank account with Santander and they never asked me to provide 3 years UK address history.

Any reason for why you wouldn't switch into your existing accounts?

It's a joint account and the second person is the one who will refer me so I am worried Santander could say I am recommending my self.

    Am I wrong?

No, you are not wrong. I wouldn't chance it if I were you. But you could find another referrer if you are unable to open a new account.

Is there a limit to the number of times I can be referred?

I know I can only refer 5 people, but can I say be referred 6 times, switch 6 current accounts to Santander and get 6x £50 Amazon vouchers rather than 5x £50?

I can't see anything in the T&Cs but maybe I've missed it?

Yeah, I think you're wrong because you're reading details into the T&C's that aren't there.
However, I do understand why you're thinking up reasons why Santander may reject your claim.

My OH and I have only one Santander account which is joint and have referred each other = 2x5 codes. We have both opened new sole everyday accounts online and completed one switch already online and claimed our first amazon vouchers. Is it best for further switches to go to each new sole everyday account and not to the longstanding joint account?
