I am so glad it all went well today

It is a huge weight off of your minds, I know when we did it, I bounced out the court (didn't have to see the judge though) and was waiting that evening in anticipation for the first creditor to ring.

It is a great feeling when you pick up the phone knowing that after that conversation, you shouldn't hear anything from them again. Saying that, I did have one from an Indian call centre and it took a bit of explaining to her, but she eventually got it.

It sounds like you had a lovely and very understanding judge and some great clerks. It always helps the process, though can cause some emotional moments:rolleyes:

BLTN - emotional, me? I have no idea what you could mean.......

I just took more pleasure than I probably should have in telling the lady from Barclaycard the news when she rang....... she was very nice actually, took my BR number and which court it was and thanked me for my time.

Then, less than 5 minutes later, the phone went again....... a DCA called CDUK (wasn't that a programme with Ant n Dec n Cat Deeley?) calling on behalf of Egg. The woman had clearly been on and got a diploma in "How To Be As Snotty As Possible" course, she was horrible. She didn't believe me and when I gave her my BR number she said the format was "wrong" so I replied "well, that's the number the court have given me, would you like to call them to check or, better still, would you like the OR's number?" She stuttered a bit then, said no thanks and that she'd call back later in the week if she needed more information :rolleyes:
