Like your thinking BLTN.
i'm sure you will be fine Scarlett. You've read enough of other peoples experiances to know how these things go.
I know, you're right tgAm feeling a bit better now, less 'manic'
As H just helpfully pointed out, we'll be there together, I won't be on my own and (I quote) if anyone is horrible to me he'll punch them. Hmmm, not sure how helpful that would be, but his heart's in the right place :rotfl:

Just wanted to add my support Scarlett. You have been such a supportive member of this forum for so many people and I just want you to know that we are with you all the way.
Seems to me that you have the same gossipy mums that I have at my school! I just think of them now with their flash cars and designer clothes and wonder how much debt they have to worry about every month.
I can also imagine you with your brick sized mobile phone and chalk stripe suit and bright red lipstick - "Yah...thats right OR, sell sell sell".

Hi Scarlett,
I can't believe you've been around here as long as you have and I've never posted in your Diary. I think that's probably because you've always seemed in control and quite single minded about what you're doing.
If I don't get the chance to post again before Monday which I probably won't, we've got a couple of dear friends staying over the weekend so I'll be either drunk, or hungover, then all the best for Monday.
Best regards

I know, I seem to have been here for ever don't I?Do you think I might win some sort of award for most drawn-out bankruptcy? I'm quite surprised the fees haven't actually gone up since I booked it

Nope. I think there are a few others who can beat you there.;)Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Almost forgot to say...... 'well, it never rains but'....... and all that. It looks like I'll have something new to worry about once the BR is out of the way - it's highly likely I'll be losing my job in the next few weeks and it's also even more likely that my boss will try and shaft me in regards to redundancy pay  Any employers rights experts on the board? <weak smile>
Excellent - nothing like a 'new' worry to keep me going..... :rolleyes:You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Aw Scarlett thats a bum...
Go over to the employment board, they should be able to help you..or theres our good old faithful Debt Doctor..The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -

Thanks bltn, I'll have a look over there
I have to laugh really (in an ironic, slightly hysterical way), it wouldn't do to have an easy life now would it?
I know my rights (well, I'm learning them this evening with the help of the Acas website) and I know she can't just 'get rid of me' and I WILL fight her if I have to but...... I'm not very good with confrontation <wibble>, that's H's department! You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that
