first day of new job done and all ready to leave for the second day - I got home in 30 mins yesterday so it means I have the chance for some balance in my life - dont want to be doing over an hours commute morning and night anymore. Job was busy and lots to take in - its a completely different product that I'm selling to what I've done for 20+ years so its time to turn my brain on and awaken the grey matter to taking in lots of new information in as short a time as possible so I am ready and up to speed to start selling and earning some commission.
pay day for this job not until the end of next month so I now have 375 cash to get me thru next month - Ex OH has agreed to pay all the monthly bills on his CC before he leaves so I am going to get him to do that asap so he cant backtrack on that one as well.... he leaves Sunday so is in the process of packing up his stuff and having a clear out as he does it. Once he has gone I'm thinking of doing the same with my stuff and stuff from my DS's that is still cluttering the place up - I want a fresh start and need to clear the decks so I can think straight.
apart from that all ticking along nicely - I plan to eat out of the freezer next month and worked out I have the equivalent of almost 40 portions of main meals of various types portioned up and frozen so that will save loads on food shopping. will have to do bread and milk and so on but I should get away with just 40 or 50 maximum for the month.
not even thought about what I am paying at the end of april when I finally get a proper months money - havent had the motivation to look ahead that far yet. keep on plodding - It will get better.0 -
Who knows, you may come across some stuff worth selling while doing your clear outMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. What a brilliant update. Youre so strong just cracking on with a new job and resolving to be good at it. Im sure you'll make a success at the new role. Maybe make yourself some cue cards of the new products? Thats the sort of thing that helps me. I also write myself a script but thats me.
Fresh slate is a great idea. And much easier without his stuff in the way.
Keep up the great work xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

loving the new job so far - long may it last - even better made my first sale/ commission - a massive £70 which wont be paid for another 2 months but at least it's a start
finally starting to feel hopeful about the future - I know I can do this now, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and it has really - ive got shot of 14 stone of lead weight0 -
I was so pleased to read your update - yes you have a tough few months ahead, but you also have hope that things can change - and you have the power to make those changes. If you look back at your first posts, you have come so far! You are a strong and amazing woman.0

result - I picked up 525 for the job that lasted just a week instead of the 375 I was expecting so thats good. havent decided what im going to do with the extra yet -
OH has so far paid for the rent / council tax/ electric and internet connection for next month on his CC before he leaves. I need to pay car insurance 51, car tax 25, pre-payment certificate for prescriptions 12, mobile credit 10 - this includes the 5 for the OH as I forgot to stop his payment in time but it wont go thru again. I also need to put petrol in the car once next month £75 and that should last me till next payday - so I make it I have 173 in definite obligations that need to go out and will be left with about 350. I need to set some aside for groceries which will just be essential top ups - say 50 for the month so 300 to play with....
time to get my thinking cap on and decide what to do next...0 -
