Both babies home and life returning to a new normal - which for mom and dad means non stop feeding/ winding and changing of nappies - glad that everything is now going to settle down at last.
I got a CCJ in the post last week for one of the debts that I have disputed and done a prove it letter for - they are asking for £100 per month which will upset my budget so im asking them to review the monthly amount and put it on payment plan same as all my other creditors. I dont dispute that I owe the amount of money I do I just want to be sure that I'm paying the right company for the right debt. and I dont want to favour one creditor over another … I also seem to have letters coming thru about debts I cant even remember so I dont know what is going on, time to get my files out for my dmp and work out what I owe to whom again.
ive taken my eye off the ball and I dont like being all over the place and disorganised like this. so time to get it together!0 -
So glad the babies are OK and now home...... this is when the fun really begins!
Hope you manage to get the money side sorted quickly (((hugs)))I Believe.....

lots been going on and all good
been offered the sales manager role at another office for the company I work for - longer commute (still public transport but into town each day) and a huge 12K basic pay rise plus commission and override on the team I manage. I start the new role 1st October (so just over a week to go) and have a weeks training course the first week in London (work covers the cost of travel and hotel for the 4 nights I am away). I cant wait to get stuck in!
I managed 3 days over in Lisbon to see my DS before he goes to Japan and had a fantastic time - he showed me the sights and really looked after me. Still miss him loads but I'm not going to leave it so long this time till I go and see him again.
The CCJ payment was successfully appealed and is now on regular payments with all my other debts. I'm leaving them at nominal payments and picking them off one by one for settlement figures.
Twinnies are thriving - they have doubled their weight since their birth and have just started smiling - and a proper smile not just wind :rotfl:
I need to sit down and do a revised SOA (again) but have October to do it - for now its concentrate on actually doing the new role and making a success of it.0 -

fast forward 9 months and life has changed again - ive had 2 jobs since my last post - the one I was about to start in sept last year lasted long enough for me to be taken on permanently and the following week I was made redundant, I then got diagnosed with breast cancer and started chemo (which has been put on hold with all that has gone on in the world), started working for a new company the covid19 hit. I was kept on full time until May when I was furloughed, now I'm back working 2 days a week but still being paid 80% of salary and from next week I go back to 3 days on the same money.
debts are under control and being paid down, im getting settlement offers all the time and I'm starting to knock them off one by one - I need to do another SOA and work out where I'm at again but all told, doing ok in all areas of life- long may it last.

Great to ‘see’ you back and still determined to knock that debt out. I too was diagnosed with BC in the middle of my debt journey which meant treading water for a year but that was 10 years ago now - you can do this too, keep believing and keep strong and I wish you the best of luck.TCCx1
