£13 National Trust Membership, free rug and free carparking

What's the deal?
The National Trust has cut the cost of membership prices if you buy online via direct debit. Plus, if you go via a cashback site, you can get most of the cost back anyway. Add to that a free rug currently on offer for joining online, and you're quids in!
National Trust membership for under £13
This is all about using cashback sites. The National Trust's individual membership bought via direct debit is currently reduced to £32.63. Yet sign up via cashback site Quidco and you get £20 cashback; meaning a total cost of £12.63.
For those unfamilliar with cashback sites they're simply a form of advertising that list product providers and retailers, and get paid for ‘providing leads’ when you click through them. Yet with these sites some or all of the revenue raised from your click is paid directly to you.
Quidco gives £20 although it charges newcomers a £5 admin fee to cover its costs. If you are going to use a cashback site for the first time, read the Top Cashback Sites article for a full explanation of the pros and cons of doing so; the cashback is usually paid but never guaranteed.
IMPORTANT! This cheap price only lasts a year; unless you cancel your subscription before the year is up, renewal for next year will be at full price.
What does the membership include?
The price above is for individual membership. Joint and family memberships are also available at a reduced price and qualify for the cashback. Plus, currently, buy membership online and you get a free rug.
National Trust membership gives you free entry to its houses and gardens, as well as those of the National Trust for Scotland and partner organisations. Membership also includes free parking at National Trust carparks, great for saving on car parking costs in the summer months.
Why would the National Trust do this?
Remember, the National Trust is a charity that doesn't receive direct government funding. The more members it has the more likely it is to raise funds from purchases in its shops and restaurants when they visit. So of course if you use your membership regularly, not only are you learning more about the history of the places you visit, you're also contributing to the upkeep of the nation's historic houses and monuments - well worth it!
Warning! Go quick!
The weekly e-mail now goes out to over 1.5 million people, and in the past when an offer like this has been included the cashback sites pulled their cashback offers quickly, so grab it now if you want it.
PS. This deal was originally spotted by MoneySaver littlejaffa below. Thanks for the top spot! This post has been inserted to provide a more detailed explanation and research for MoneySavers coming from the weekly e-mail

The national trust have an offer of single membership for £32 just now, and quidco are giving £20 cashback.
I ordered mine, my inlaws ordered theirs and it's all tracked well.
Even if your buying for a couple it makes more sence to buy 2 singles and get £40 cashback (for two transactions) rather than £20 cashback (for one)
Most properties charge around £10 for an adult so even if you only use it twice while on hoilday it's a saving. (this allows you entry to properties in scotland also)
The best bit it, every national trust property proudly displays their prices at the entrance so it looks like you've spent loads more than you actually have!Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
Thanks for this! I've been meaning to join for ages and never thought to look at Quidco!

Am thinking I'll get this for my sister and brother in laws christmas. Did the cashback track twice?0

I had my cash back 2 x £20 at the end of October, I took 2 separate memberships out for myself and my husband the middle of August. I did them in 2 separate transactions in case I only got 1 x £20 back if I did them together. It tracked almost immediately so it work for me a great deal.0

Many thanks for this, I have just signed myself up. Once I see the transaction being tracked I will do one for my sister etc......and it gives me time to check no-one else has thought of it as an Xmas present
I notice on Quidco it says they are slow to pay, so I could do with staggering the DD's at the bank - although I am due £60 back in Dec from the insurance I took out in August.
Love Quidco :rolleyes:0 -
I am getting a server error every time I click the link from Quidco
Good find though :T OP:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0
