    Hello

I am new at this game, what is quidco? I would love to buy the Nat Trust for my son this year.

Quidco is a cashback site. www.quidco.com

If you join Quidco (at a cost of £5 per year taken from any cashback you make) you can use the referral links within Quidco to gain cashback. Please note that the cashbacks are not guaranteed but I have rarely had problems and have had over £400 back from them over the last year.
  • hi guys, i just want to make sure ive got this right.......

im 25, so i qualify for the young persons membership (being 18 - 25 at time of joining) but its £19.50 one off payment, or £14.63 via direct debit.
so if i pay the £19.50 do i still get the £20 back from quidco?

You should do as it says £20 per membership on Quidco. Quidco payment is not guaranteed but the stats look pretty good with 99% tracking in an average of 0 days so it should be ok.

I've just been through the gift process and you can say when you want it to start (sorry can't remember all the options).

Note that if you choose the cheaper direct debit option then this is for an "ongoing" memebership.
You will need to cancel with the National Trust as well as the DD at the bank.
I'm not sure what the rules are for cancelling but as long as you give some notice you should be fine.

Cancelling a DD at the bank does not cancel a contract, it simply means you've blocked payment.

    I think the options were

    1. Membership to start now.
    2. in 1 month
    3. in 2 months

Yesterday I received 2 picnic blankets and 2 membership packs and Quidco has tracked. I only joined online on Monday so I'm really pleased with this.

We were going to join anyway after visiting Dorset this year and paying car parking at Studland plus we live near Clumber Park. The extended membership, free blankets and Quidco have been a bonus!!

:) Received a letter today confirming my bank account details, looking good, now thinking of getting membership for ourselves.

  • mine has tracked for £20 and my husbands gift membership has tracked for £0

grrh. I have the statutary right to cancel so I may well ask the bank to block the direct debits but I`ll give it to monday anyway
  • surely using membership cards when you have not paid is fraudulent - even if the theory only was pointed out

not sure why people thanked someone for suggesting that if you forget to return the cards after cancelling that you may be able to use them <rolls eyes>

  • hi all another daft question. my son is coming over from canada in january and he is castle mad. I thought I should get this for him and his wife but he is only here for a month. If I get them for myself and my husband will he be able to use them for that month and we use them the rest of the time? Do they ask for photo ID or ID at the entrances? Also anyone know if there is a reduction for people with severe disabilities? My hubby has Parkinson's and after about 10 minutes he is completly shattered and has to go back to the car. thanks in advance taffy
