Neon Reef seem cheap, but it remains to be seen whether they're cheerful.

Presumably as cheerful as Utility Point - it's run by the same people from the same building

Good luck whilst your with them too!
I remember in Sept/Oct 2018 when we were supplied by UP, we got a sudden, unexpected and unexplained increase in our monthly payments.
Exactly £4.00 per month more, as did many others.

See post #149of the UP feedback thread. Fortunately they did resolve it for us within a fortnight (post#162)

You'll also find my experience on leaving them. Not perfect, but no where near the nightmare Symbio are turning out to be. (post#448 of UP feedback thread)
At least they cancelled my DDI once we were all sorted. Not all suppliers do that for you :)

My concern now would be why the directors of UP have set up and are running a competitive energy supplier from the same building, whilst still running UP?
(They've also got another energy supply company lying dormant in the wings.)

And some fell on stoney ground......:rotfl:
  • Okay - I've managed to decipher their latest 3-page bill and see where all their figures are coming from. Hopelessly muddled I'm afraid. Repeated errors you might expect from a twelve-year-old. If this is typical I'm afraid I hold out little hope of them ever getting things onto an even keel. I can now see why Talldave is in profit. I just have to feel for all those punters who don't have the time or nous to figure it out and are just getting stung. Wake up regulators!
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a self-satisfied pessimist

They did that with me too but at he end of it all I did get £30 compensation from them plus the cost of a first class stamp :).

Agreed to pay the full amount on the bill even though it was over estimated by more than double. However today they have revised my bill downwards but the bill amount is £45.00 for January and will be collecting this amount on the 24 January by dd.

I really cannot get my head around all this because even though I paid £91.00 for the same period they are now requesting another £45.00 for the same period. I'm just too tired today to think too much about it.

Got my revised bill, says I still owe the full revised amount despite them already taking a fixed DD on account.

If you are on fixed DD the bill will still say X amount as stated on the bill to be collected but only the fixed agreed amount was in my case.

I think not contacting them has been the much safer option. You're venturing into totally unknown billing territory now - and what we've already seen is scary enough.
