Or couldn't, like anyone who had a SMETS2 meter installed, whether by choice or consequence.matelodave said:
One assumes that you might get away with it if you hadn't been sending accurate meters reading for the past few months which would show that their estimates are fantasy.Petriix said:Here's an interesting question: Symbio have estimated an enormously inflated meter reading for the end of October. How feasible is it to use this reading as the start/end reading with the new supplier? What if I somehow neglect to actually look at my meter and take an actual reading?
Thankfully, EON will allow me to submit a meter reading with them. Ironically, I got a bill today from Symbio suggesting magical unicorn levels of usage.
Although I hope everyone has managed to get all their documents, bills and meter readings together because as I write this post, Symbio's website has gone offline.0 -

My main concern will be to ensure that the two readings from my E7 meter can be charged at the single rate. Looking through their site it seems that they're happy to do this, and I suppose they might ask as I was on a single rate with Symbio. I'm thinking the best thing would be to wait until I have an account number and then ask, hoping that they'll be happy to back date the arrangement to the start of supply. I don't see why they wouldn't.0
