No longer a registered customer according to their portal login as I left them 2 months ago. I have all my bills downloaded and emails from their Quality Assurance.

I am on a single rate tariff but with an E7 meter. Would this cause issues when I am moved?
I'm the same, It won't be a problem, but you'll need to do some sums when we know the tariff to see if it would be advantageous to still be charged at a single rate, and if so, ask as many suppliers are OK with this.
  • They had around 48,000 customers according to the Ofgem press release.

I am about £35.00 in credit. I should be sorry they have gone bust but in some respects I am pleased. They were really a pain in the buttocks. The people I really feel sorry for are the administrators have to sort out their billing system.

I have just gone in and downloaded all meters reads, bills, and anything else that may be useful.

My dd would normally be taken in the first week of the Month. I was never on a fixed payment amount so not sure how I will be billed for October usage.
  • At least now I might be able to finally give a meter reading, even if it is to the nominated supplier. No smart readings on my account when I just checked. My sympathies with the blameless people made redundant this afternoon and the administrators who will need a quantum physics degree to calculate how much we owe or are owed.

And just for fun(!?), I had a news alert flash up on my screen as I was walking home from work - gas futures in Europe surges to an all time high today. So I fear it won't be long before the gas supplier goes under as well.
  • With them 25 months and have all the bills downloaded except this months obviously. Taken pics and sent readings just now, website is still functioning. Last bill stated £9.50 owing and they took £128 as fixed DD so just under £120 overpaid. Checked readings against unit price and Daily Standing Charge and I'm £30 in credit as of now. Cancelled the DD with the bank, could've been much worse if they'd lasted a few more days and collected another £128. Still had 4 months left fixed at 10.77p so wherever we go is going to be quite a shock pricewise.

I was transferred to them for my gas when UP went bust. TBH will be great to be with a  more professional outfit.

thankfully they managed to get my smartmeter registered/take readings from it within the last few weeks and I can that they took a reading from it a few days ago, I too had the email requesting a meter read yesterday so submitted one (and again today)

hopefully the transfer will be fairly swift and painless, I suspect the new provider will be better at accurate billing- we can re-evaluate options then. Im just now hoping my gas provider stays in business as signed up to a two year fixed in June
