My latest estimate is very nearly accurate! Only 3Kwh more than my estimate. However though the direct debit is now about twice what my bill is, because they put me on a fixed DD, when I complained about their estimates. I didn't ask for a fixed DD, and have twice requested to be put back the variable direct debit, which has been ignored.

My July estimate is in and is the first which is less than EAC/12 (4%less).
Might not be quite enough. My peak consumption is usually spring and autumn.

Well that's a first, a negative bill! After consolidating out 493kWh of over estimates and a July estimate of EAC/12 - 4% they owe me money.

Their estimate is still unrealistic; my prediction for July is EAC/12 - 22%. They just don't appear to understand that if we were using EAC+80% in winter we need some big figures under EAC in summer.

But, the interest free loan is repaid in full. If their cashflow is critical, this month could be when it all goes wrong.

Mine has come in at around 10% more than actual June consumption, and 13% below EAC/12.  I'm actually OK with that, I don't mind them giving themselves a little headroom.  So on that basis I've offered to settle the two outstanding bills from May and June, as well as the July bill.

Symbio estimated 37% over EAC/12 (adjusted) for me this month
    - I wonder when the summer season starts for Symbio customers???

    ....
Yep, looks like Summer starts in Jul according to Symbio.
In the month when, accordig to Symbio's own graph (see post here), we should be paying very slightly more than June, they've actually charged just less than 6% LESS than EAC/12 (adjusted) for us this month. :)

It's going to be a short Summer, as the Winter period kicks back in come October, as you can see from the graph and was stated in the email of 01-Dec-2019.
(Not that they will be supplying us come October)

What confuses me now though is that we all seem to be getting charged differing percentages.

My latest bill is £26.00 for July on an estimate of 352 units. Getting better but still about 10% higher than my actual usage. Never mind a great improvement on previous months. Well done Symbio. Keep up the good work!

Yep, looks like it could be game over very soon. I hope their accountant never works again.

It's curious. I can't imagine Symbio have the competence to create a different algorithm for different customers. But I wonder if they take account of the actual use vs EAC. I'm heading for 3-4% below EAC for the year, which is negligible. How does your actual use look against EAC?

If repaying the interest free loan doesn't bankrupt them, I'm sure they'll be back to EAC+80% as soon as there's a hint of frost.

My bill shows no meter reading, just an estimate. My consumption is down but my debt is still growing, I pay a fix amount.

Plus they ignored this months payment! The bill only shows estimates.
