So that's both my utilities sorted out for the immediate future

Green. For electricity and I've just renewed with zog for another 12 months gas on their very competitve mercury 12 v35 tariff

Both these utility companies have provided excellent first rate customer services in my recent conversations with them. In zogs case I enquired about switching tariffs early as my previous fix (without a tie in fee) didn't end until April 24th. I made this enquiry Sunday morning.

Today I not only received confirmation and acceptance of my tariff switch but an immediate reduction to my direct debit of nearly ten pounds a month

It's things like that that matter to me. Yes cost is important but its not the be all and end all especially when you look at symbios prices which for me are a mere 8 pounds a year cheaper than green

I'll happily pay that 8 pounds and get virtual immediate replies and actions to any emails I send

Bye symbio. It was entertaining but if I wanted a comedy act I'd go to the theatre

Anyone got their February bill yet?

If I recall correctly, it was a month ago today that the current fisaco all started.

Just looking at the online account; all been done up in fancy new colours etc.

Unfortunately, I still can't enter meter readings directly onto it
(looks like the cut & paste workaround will still have to be employed)

Looking at 'my usage usage', some more work is needed on the website.
Top graph looks correct, but the lower graph, whilst it states " Consumed in
January 2020", is a bar chart for February (See the x-axis label, or hover over the bar) ... which seems to have January's data in it.

Not yet...waiting with baited breath. No doubt their over-qualified unpaid intern is currently tweaking their estimates based on environmental changes, winter consumption and last week's lottery numbers.

I had to swap browsers to use the latest incarnation of their Fisher Price website. It's as crap as everything else they do - my consumption graph is missing September. They also can't list previous bills in date order - now I mean that's lesson 1 of programming school!!!

Actually, looking back at this thread, it seems the first reports were made on the 3rd January, late in the evening (just after 11:30pm)

This lead me to check when historically Symbio have issued thir monthly bills

September 2019 - 2nd (but withdrawn on 3rd as it was wrong, and reissued 11th)
    October 2019 - 11th
    November 2019 - 18th
    December 2019 - 3rd
January 2020 - Never received mine, but reports here indicate it was 3rd

    February 2020 - ???

At least with Symbio they like to chop and change it; so much more interesting than boringly issuing it on the same day every month that most of the rest of the energy industry typically bases their billing on, don't you think? :D

Yes my January bill came on 3rd, although later replaced. No sign of February yet, they are probably wondering how I could possibly use 495 units in January on an eac of 6000 😬

I got an email from Symbio this morning so I opened it thinking it was my latest bill.

I was an email saying thank you for my meter reading for the 1/02/2020 and they will send it off to be validated or something like that and allow 7 days to be validated.

So does that mean that Feb's estimated bill will be like January's bi
as they nearly charged me double my actual usage.

With the new website can anybody download the bills as mine just shows a pop up window with the charges and what has/will be charged.

As with all you Symbio customers we will have to wait and see what joy's are in the bills.

They send that email every month (although it doesn't usually take 4/5 days to arrive) but they still use the reading on the bill for consolidating the previous estimate with actual usage and handing out free kWh!

Had a revised Jan bill on 28 Jan informing me they would take the difference between this bill and the agreed lower payment I made on 4 Feb. It is now 6th and no payment taken. They really are a mess.
