Does Aldi ever do any MoCs? I'd much rather get my Christmas goodies from there than Lidl.
Now I think about it I am not sure I have. I like lidl for the instore bakery items but that is about it. But I prefer Aldi.

We did use up two of the £10 off a £40 spend in lidl the other week. But that was due to buying groceries and electric tooth brush and ski wear for my partner. So saved £20. So better in our pocket than there's.

More supply issues across both L & A. This time, it's Houmous. Aldi have none except the more expensive "luxury" version, and Lidl have a single variety from a new brand in place of the various previous options.

This seems like a weird one, because chickpeas can't be difficult or expensive to source....

Happens every Christmas - routine lines just disappear to make way for all the shelves of much more profitable Christmas stuff.

Impossible to predict what's going to disappear, of course!

Yes... sadly the consequence of having smaller stores with less space.

My favourite Aldi Chicken Tikka Masala and Thai Mixed Veg have already gone. Hopefully they will return to the freezer cabinets in January alongside the remaindered Christmas fare.

  • Can of cooked chickpeas, splash of lemon juice, slosh of olive oil, crushed garlic, salt to taste. WHIZZZZZ! Dash of paprika, warm pitta bread. Sorted!
