I'd like to match up with two garden chairs purchased previously at Lidl. They're advertised as being available on Thursday 15th April. Can anyone tell me if I have any chance of buying them if I shop late on Wednesday night or are they not for sale until Thursday?
Unfortunately I can't get there on Thursday morning. Thanks for any advice.
They are pretty strict in my store, the Thursday items are not put out until the morning so the customers can't chance their arm and take one to the till where it won't even be recognised until Thursday as the barcode is not in the system yet.

Extraordinarily unlikely, I’d say, unless you know a member of staff who’d put them by for you, but I imagine that’s absolutely forbidden.

Thursday offers go on sale on Thursday, I’m afraid. Too many complaints from Thursday shoppers if they went on sale early.

Aldi’s online sales are infinitely more flexible.

Really like the Aldi Specially Selected Kalamata Greek olives @ £1.49 for 350gms.

Used to buy Tesco Finest £2.00 for 210 gms but OH says the Aldi ones are much better.
    And they're cheaper!

    Oh no!
Been to Aldi today and no Kalamata Greek olives on the shelf and no label or empty space.

I hope they've not discontinued them.
They are still on the website so hopefully it's just a one-off.

A former colleague works for Lidl - not the one I shop at. She is one of the staff that puts the Middle of Lidl stuff out on Thursday and Sundays mornings before the store opens (think she's in 3 hours before the store opens to the public) then move whatever is left from the previous Sunday/Thursday to the next aisle.

Thanks for your help everyone. Saved me a trip out tomorrow night :) I suppose it's only fair, and I'll take my chance on Thursday afternoon.

    New product at Lidl:

"Fibre Yum" - these are high fibre, low calorie cake squares like Aldi's Fibre Now, and the branded Fibre One.   Lidl's come in three flavours:   Chocolate Brownie, Salted Caramel and Lemon Drizzle.   I think they are nicer than Aldi's version, which I find a bit dry.  The Lemon Drizzle has an excellent zesty lemon flavour.

Aldi Vegan Frozen No-Meatballs and Sausages have been repackaged (to loose-packed plastic bags), and I think the Meatball variety has become smaller.   Not tried yet, so don't know whether the recipe has also changed.

    New product at Aldi:

Savour Bakes Sesame Breadsticks - light, crisp breadsticks with sesame seeds.

Not sure if Aldi reduction policy has changed again but I'm finding reductions on the day of expiry now at 75% off instead of 30% off. Of course previously short dated products last year were always 50% off straight away. There are still occasions where things are only 30% off on the day though.

Not impressed with Lidl's Snacktastic Potato Hoops. Very hard and not a patch on Hula Hoops.
