Having read this exchange earlier, I checked and Aldi eggs were fine today in my local store. Display until 11th may and BB 18th. Perhaps it's a problem with local suppliers? 🤔
Changing customer habits could explain why they aren't shifting eggs so quickly. Not just less home baking but people going back to work and having less time for a cooked breakfast while indoor cafes and restaurants still not open and the necessity of buying a Scotch egg now removed? 🤣4 -

For weeks now I've been totally unable to find the own brand baked beans. Even the 22p ones were a decent staple.
Any idea why? Confused....0 -
It has been happening at my local store on and off for well over a year, the store manager does not know why but he does say that people stock up on tins when they do come in so they run out quickly.

I have been amazed recently by the empty shelves in my two local Lidl stores. It doesn't seem to be fresh produce, rather tins and bottles, etc. They are usually so efficient in turning the stock around.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
