Can anyone tell me what the Lidl Knightsbridge Gold Blend tea bags (95p) are like? I like fairly strong tea so I was thinking of trying these. I remember trying their standard red label tea bags a while ago and not thinking much of them. Thanks
Fine, I quite like them but they are not Yorkshire. They are about as good as the red label.

So much to read, so little time.

My parents bought a couple of the gold label tea bags from Lidl when they were part of a super weekend deal earlier this year. They like them.

Today at Lidl, I had to get refunds on two items that were reduced to 20p and the new bag of mixed odd shaped peppers as cashier put them through as single peppers! The problem with the former, are the original barcodes aren't covered up. The bag of peppers there's no barcode on the bag, just a clear sticker. Also the Lidl - the only loose peppers they sell are red. I had yellow in there too.

In Lidl the bag of 7 'mini' bananas @ 75p is better value than the bag of 5 'normal' size bananas @ 65p as they are both about the same size so works out at roughly 10.5p each for the mini and 13p each for the normal
  • Our Aldi doesn't have Spekulatzius christmas biscuits - does anyone else's, or have they been discontinued?

FWIW Tesco appear to sell some Spekulatzius biscuits:

Lidl have the Christmas Ritter Sport chocolate. They have the Speckulatzius one in a metallic red wrapper. It says Spiced Biscuit on the wrapper and when scanned it says Specuulatzius.

Waitrose have them but are more like a small spiced cake type cookie.
  • LIDL are selling them this year in decent sized packs (600g I think) for about £1.59
