Hi, does Aldi still do 50% reductions on out of date stuff? Just lately I've only seen 30% off stickers on the day of the display until date.
No, I mentioned this a while back but they just stopped doing 50% off one week and now it's all 30% and you only see stuff generally going off the same day whereas before you could get stuff with a day left at 50% off. Don't bother hunting for red labels anymore pointless!
Wrong. Depends on the manager.  My store does 30%, 50% and 75% off.  Got 75% off something only last night.

Is this at regional manager level or in-store? Seems odd both the two stores round here went from 50% labels to 30% over the course of a week and never seen a 50% in two months now.

The Lidl where I shop has had a partial rejig of the layout. Fresh meat and fish are in one long chiller. Plus items like smoked mackerel and smoked salmon are within the fish. They used to be next to the cooked meats. One thing I found puzzling was UHT milk was in the chiller! Wasn't on the look out if they had any on the ambient shelving

Its looking like XMass dinner for 1 this year. Anyway Lidl do the 3 bird roast (freezer section). They obviously sell. So has anybody bought & tasted one? Did it do the job?

I did a few years back, over rated IMO, and not as pictured or imagined, it was basically three types of fowl tied together
OK for the novelty but I never bought another one, stick to the stollen :D

Mum bought & cooked & loved it, Dad carved & didn't. (I think he's scheming for salmon this year.)
My view is if you can identify the flavours & like them all, excellent; if not, it all makes a smashing curry...
Have already started buying the lebkuchen, and son has already left an empty bag where I can see it so I know to get more. When I can find which spices trigger him, I shall leave the ingredients on the kitchen table with instructions!

And I'm sure he'll produce lebkuchen that leaves Aldi and Lidl offerings in the shade. ;)

Possibly, if he doesn't eat the lot & not leave any for us to sample & even admire. The young male appetite is terrifying!

Can anyone tell me what the Lidl Knightsbridge Gold Blend tea bags (95p) are like? I like fairly strong tea so I was thinking of trying these. I remember trying their standard red label tea bags a while ago and not thinking much of them. Thanks
