Does anyone know if Lidl sells Golden Syrup?
I know that Aldi does but I am not going there for a while.

Thanks, I was not sure.
I have caught the baking bug and need syrup for some recipes.

Aldi ridged meaty crips have added Thai sweet chicken flavour just like a certain well know brand.  My partner picked up the click and collect order this morning and something was mentioned about the crisps.  So now I have crisps that I wont eat and my partner is not that keen on!!!

Anyway apart from one thing not being in stock and two subs its was well all in date.  So will be using again.  I know its £4.99 but for someone else to pick and pack your shopping not going to complain.

I don't think so. I've never seen it. The best value I've found is in Tesco but I use it for coating 'fried' chicken rather than mash.

There's supposed to be an Asda Smartprice one but it's never been in stock when I'm in there.

Thought that would be a good deal but will struggle to get anywhere close to £40 without alcohol.

I generally stock up on my Lidl favourites like muesli, cornichons, dishwasher stuff, washing liquid, lazy garlic and might get Stollen too. Shame no booze though. ☹️

Same here. Though I did have a £5 off £40 coupon with the catalogue delivered in my letterbox and that allowed two purchases of alcohol. Bought my Dad a single malt whiskey and their Baileys leaving me £13 on food.

At one point in time they did it was in a box and not bad at all but not seen it for ages.
