    Hi,
I was not offered the option of switching during the application. The account was opened beginning of February and I filled out the switch online.

Same boat. Did other folk get the option during the application? I'm guessing if I use rbs.co.uk/switch now I won't qualify.

My switch to RBS was completed today. Went to set up digital/mobile banking and realised that I need my account number to set up both. Got out my unembossed RBS debit card - no account number. Checked online to see where I can find it and the RBS website says I can find it on my online/mobile banking or a statement (mine are digital).

I guess I have to ring up and jump through the security loops to get it - it isn't on any of my switch emails or post.

Mine was shown at the end of the application.

I suspect yours would have been too.

Not RBS, but with NatWest I originally applied fairly late in the evening, and was not offered an option to switch as part of the application process.

I phoned NatWest the following day, and they advised me to re-apply online during office hours, which I did, and was offered the switch as part of the application process. The advisor cancelled my first application, and allowed the second one to complete. I received the bonus.

Bonus paid x2 (and we both used the natwest offer too - sssh!). Now I can sacrifice them both for Santander refer-a-friend

The £1,500, is this a one off payment? That's how I read it and not the usual £1,500 per month.
