The little rummun keeps sneaking strappy summer tops into her wardrobe that were packed away for next year (she uses them for dancing about and practising being a model   :D ) so I've took all those away too she'll find them again though. Got her clothes ready for her day out tomorrow, nana and her aunty are taking her and her baby cousin to Winter Wonderland in Keilder Forest so thick jeans/boots/vest/jumper are called for.

Argh! We went here a couple of years ago and it was great. Tried to book a couple of weeks ago and thought it wasn't on. Obviously need my eyes testing as found it immediately! Need to go see if I can still book now!!

EDIT: Nope - only weekdays left so no good at all! :( Still, saved me £80 I suppose!

Hi D&DD Thanks, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it anywhere else it's this Bratz one

    http://www.woolworths.co.uk/web/jsp/product/index.jsp?pid=50934417

This is the only one she's liked that we've seen and I'd rather spend the money on that than buy her something else she doesn't like/want IYKWIM, so it's either this or nothing. Think I'll pop down into town and have a shufty. I'll just have to borrow some dosh off OH if I need some.

Bathroom will have to wait! heh! heh!
  • Quick update:-

Cleaned mirror in living room (forgot yesterday ;) ), dishes washed and rubbish out. All bedrooms dusted and windows cleaned, bins emptied as well. All rooms were tidy except DS as there was lego strewn all over the floor and he had hid his ironing under his bed
Cleaned window in bathroom while I was at it, just floors to be vacummed and cleaned (if laminate-which most are!)

Quick drink first, then back to it.

    See you later peeps

I'm sure she'll love it. The year we went they had to go into an elf's house where she was asleep and she jumped up and pretended she was going to be in trouble so the kids had to help make some presents, then they were taken for a walk through the woods where other characters came out and talked to them, then they got to Santa's house and he knew all about each one of them - it was fab! We went to Lapland the year before that but I think Kielder was just as good! Also there was ice skating and storytelling - she'll have a great day!
  • Thanks Lil_me, PM'd you back. A great help and thanks for taking the time. :T
embb, I've never been to the Winterwonderland at Keilder but loads of folks at work take borrowed kids ther. It supposed to be fab. I know someone who was working up there on Tuesday and was ankle deep in snow. Very christmassy!

Kitchen is useable again after a quick S&S. BM is on, WM on with the 3rd load. First two pointlessly pegged out.
Just had atext from work to ask if I'll work all day Sunday due to sickness. Double time? You bet! I'll have to drive up there to fetch some keys by 4.30, I wasn't planning on going up til later to fetch Mr Messy from work at 5.30 but a little visit to Morrisons could fill the gap. If I've any shopping money left.

Spot of ironing, then I'll tidy the livingroom I think.

Shell I never once did a passable parallel park! But I went and passed my test anyway! Actually, I never did a passable reverse round a corner either... until my test. Even then I thought I'd failed as I went over white line. But he said 'I told you not to hit the kerb and you didn't'. To this day, I firmly believe that I gave the examiner 'the boaby' and blocked it from memory.

Hoovered and been to asda, and 'shock-horror' got the car washed!!!!

Got DS1 a load of stuff for his 'movie night bag'. He's getting a DVD/TV for christmas so figured he'd like a bag with pop corn, drinks, crisps, sweets etc to go along with it!

    Need coffee...

DS2 (snotbags) down for a nap, left my glasses upstairs but I aint going up! He is still really bad all day and all night coughing, pulling at ears, drooling, he looks awful too, oh and now he has crusty-green-goo coming out his eyes, yuck!

    Still to do

    Dishes
    Kitchen units
    Screen wash in car
remove mountains of carp from car
    clean bathroom
    do some washing
    do some ironing
    then, kids room!

    :coffee: first though!!!

but hey, bit of a celebrity now, a woman has offered me £100 for my identity theft story. Lets hope its printed then I can get a hair Cut, outfit and my nails done for Christmas!

    Afternoon all

One load of washing pegged out. I don't think it will completely dry, it's too cold, but it will make it smell fresh and it doesn't take long to finish off on the radiators then.

I've done everything on the list this week - did DD's bedroom over the course of 3 days! Just did the normal tidying round and washing up and stuff. And watched Waterloo Road and The Street.......oh, and went over shops to pay paper bill and go to chemist.

Been checking my finances and seem to be better off this month. Hope I haven't forgotten something. But if I'm right it means I'll be able to draw out the last bit of money I need for Christmas without touching any savings. That would be a relief. Need to keep some money back - the grill has gone on my cooker so I'm expecting to have to get a new one at some point. As long as the oven doesn't die for Christmas....
  • I've hoovered the whole house and was just about to start cleaning the laminate when I noticed the time. Aargh where's it gone!! So will have to leave that til tomorrow now.

Tomorrows jobs are now:- Bathroom, Clean laminate, Washing & Shopping.

Will go and sort myself out and go & meet my friend for lunch.

Have a lovely afternoon ladies and I will catch up with you all later.

Awww guys it sounds wonderful, I've told her she must take photos of absolutely everything cause I want to 'be there' lol

Been to woolies and got her hat/scarf/gloves thing - yay! took me four trips round the car park to finally get a space though, it's always the same on a Friday, anyway they're bought, they're lovely and she'll be thrilled!

Now to carry on with the list where I left off.

edit: Tia that's fab! £100 will go a long way
