How many children have you had pigpen, but you're to much of a wuss to have your tonsils out:rotfl:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Quick update
DD2 is STILL asleep - despite me waking her, her walking from the buggy to the couch, drinking her drink - falls back asleep. Stereo is on (nothing), hoovered (nothing). I kind of think she needs the sleep 'cos she has been poorly - just wish she would sleep at night instead:mad: .
Pork & apple burgers made for freezer
Bolognaised bagged up and put in freezer
Sausage pot in slow cooker and smells yummy
Chocolate loaf on go
Hoovered through
S & S kitchen about 3 times
Hoover emptied
Feel to need to crawl into bed and sleep for a few days but shall resist that urge (like it could happen anyway) may have a cuppa.
Quick Ebay question. Someone has won an item from us and was going to sent a cheque but has asked for our bank details so she can pay funds straight into our account. Now logically this makes sense BUT this being ebay is there a catch??? I am so suspicious:o .0 -
All she should need is your sort code and account number shell, this is the kind of info thats on a standard cheque. should be fine to give her that. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

I'm bad, siting playing with nail varnish rather than flying.. or taking DS2 to swimming.
But my nails look quite pretty!0 -
DD1 collected from school. DD2 woke up while I put her coat on, got her in buggy put blanket over her legs, I started pushing then looked down and she had gone to sleep again.
Popped to PO and posted item so another thing ticked. Stopped at newsagents for girls sweeties as its Sweetie Friday here! Mummy had a snickers - I feel much better now:D !
Just tasted sausage pot and I think it is yum which probably means everyone else will pull a face at it but TOUGH! Will make yorkie batter up in a min.
Got work tomorrow (yuck!) hope my throat improves overnight as I had a weekend off a few weeks ago due to poorlies, though would probably got more rest at work than at home with the littles running round:rolleyes: .
Right off to prep the veggies and make that batter. We are currently watching the Shakin Stevens video for "merry Christmas everyone". We have BT Vision and they have a few christmas songs and vids on there:D
EDIT - The snickers bar has now left me feeling rather ick!!!0 -
Afternoon Peeps
Just got back from lunch with my friend (that was my ME time) it was lovely to catch up with her and have some time on my own out of the house. God know when it will happen again!!
Not going to do much flying now, got a small pile of ironing to do then tea.
:grouphug: Hugs to all "poorlies" and anyone that needs one.

Chicken things roasted, DD slept for 2 hours and I managed to wash a batch of dishes and start the soup going
OH is already on his way home as he's feeling icky as well so it looks like a PJ day tomorrow (although I'll probably get dressed and pop out to the shops for some peace! :rotfl: ) but then again OH has suggested that we all get wrapped up and go for a good walk to blow away the cobwebs  Will see how we all feel in the morning
I suggested we should all have an early night - OH's reaction : "But it's Children in Need night! "
Right, off to put away the dishes I washed earlier, maybe I'll do another batch of dishes but I need to go and make our bed & empty the snotbins upstairs  Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi lovies and hugs to you all - lots of poorlies today
Had a lovely time at IKEA, I only go about 3 times a year. Got a huge cushion cover to stuff the spare duvet in. Looks great and will act as a big cushion for reading the paper in bed.
Got the new log bucket I had my eye on and a couple of other bits - 2 I am going to take back - I have 90 days so not bad. I was really temped by a new desk chair - it was red and lovely but expensive. It was collection from another site so decided to think about it. I'll measure and see if it will fit now I am back.
Right going to tidy kitchen and do dailies in 15 miutes before taking DS2 for another chiro appointment (good job they are free).
Tonsillitis - I used to get it dreadfully for years. They did not want to take my tonsils out - it is a bigger op the older you get. Fortunately I have not had it for years now - just grew out of it I think.
Be back later.
RumblyTum in theory we say don't do left overs as it will all come round again next week. Just depends on how you want to work it. This week I've been playing catchy upey but I won't finish with 3 kids rooms and the family room still to do. I will put these on higher priority next week and keep on top of the other rooms I did well this week. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
