DS2 (snotbags) has been like that for the past hour. And that's with tixilix and ibuprofen (paracetamol gives him the runs and he has had the runs for the past week already)

DS1 may not get to swimming, unless his Gran is back in time, I can't take DS2 out like that, it's hard enough at the pool with them both!

Managed to get the kitchen done, chased all the dirty washing into the basket and put a washing on, so that's good.

Vanilla I ordered mine online last time, and got stopped for an emissions (?) test, police asked if I knew my tax was expired, I told them I had ordered it online and was waiting on it arriving. They were fine, said they would report it anyway, but if they were aware of it then nothing would happen anyway.

Pigpen I'd say have some vegetable rogan josh, but you don't like curry. It always helps me. And speak to the doc about whipping them out! Good excuse to get off flying for a day or two!

    :coffee: time again?

Can you not get them taken out now pigpen? I know its harder when you're older, hehe. but i'm sure they still do it for you if you get infections that regularly?

They don't really want to do them now.. Plus I am bit of a wimp and wouldn't let them last time they asked... they said I would have to stay out of college/school etc for 2 weeks.. hahahah.. as IF!!! I am too busy to take 2 weeks out of my life.. they would have to be done during the school holidays.. and them it would be murder with them all off school..

One day I'll get round to it!!

Black washing being dyed black.. :D.. Stepdad brought his jeans round so I sneaked some bits of mine in too.. heehee!!

  • Aw, Tia, poor little snotbags looks very sorry for himself..

I'm on a roll here and patting myself on the back. Every room is now done.

I've been on the phone and managed to move 2 of the 3 direct debits to the start of the month when I get paid, including the big council tax one. The only one I couldn't shift was O2 but that's usually just £20. Hopefully I'll be better able to manage without having to juggle too much mid-month.

I've put the heating on for a bit to get some of these 4 washloads dry. It's brightening up outside but so chilly. I'm not realistically going to get into the garden today and I should start thinking about getting myself cleaned up before I call in at work.
Spoke to Mr Messy who I fetching from work later who tells me he's forgotten his weekend bag and will I run him home for it. He offered me petrol money (40 mile round trip) but I think fish and chips might be a better idea. Saves me shopping for tea too.

Vanilla, meant to say yesterday.. I don't know about beebo (?) but a whole bunch of us on here and other OS'ers are on facebook if you join. Just join the MSE oldstyle group when you get there and you'll find us.

Off to round up my loose change to see if I can avoid getting any money out 'til after my rent goes out on Monday. That's another one I can't move and have missed it twice in 4 years from being overlydrawn. Yikes.

Catch you all later perhaps, if not I'll be back Sunday afternoon after work.

  • Hi Pigpen

I had my tonsils out when I was 30 and never looked back. I've never been so healthy. I used to have it so often, that my immune system was never fully functioning to fend off even simple colds, and it's all so much better now.

DD is finally upstairs resting in her bedroom - only for the length of a CD but I have put on the longest one she has :shhh: No more Thundercats until she comes down :j:j Now there's only 1 more DVD to go and she's watched all of them :j:j

Chicken & bits are roasting with some garlic, upstairs is more or less tidy (just need to make our bed and S&S the bathroom) and hoovered but I'll finish that when DD comes back down.

Right, off to get a warm drink, some cold capsules and I think I better do another batch of washing up as there's raw chicken prep mess out there :o I foresee PJs and blanket for me by 7pm (if not earlier) at this rate. I could do with having an hours kip myself. :o Right, kitchen tidy while I wait for the kettle to boil. Also need to update my sig as we've only one payment left on the bank loan :D:D:D:D

I live on strepsils extra.. The boots antibiotic/antiseptic ones are good I think they are pretty much the same as terozets actually.. either way they work.. but I've none left..

I have a cast iron stomach!! I can tolerate ANYTHING.. though sometimes I take just a few too many painkillers before going out and getting drunk and that makes me sick.. Other than that.. if it goes in it stays there!! I can't do spitting.. I can only just manage toothpaste when I brush my teeth.. I haven't done that yet today as it hurts to open my mouth to scrub properly.. I'll be doing it in a mo though.. And the alcohol tonight WILL numb the throat.. I just finished off the bottle of rum from my christmas cakes.. they got their last 'feeding' before they get iced on the 30th.. so I drank the remainder.. that helped!! *hic*
