Morning everyone no flying done here yet but will get on once i get everyone home. Been stuck in car tax office all morning and still have no tax, then sent a form which i've lost then i rang and they said they would send out a new one(which they never did) and now i'm over my 14 days and because some of the paper work is in maiden name and some in married name, it's all went to pot. I asked about driving because i've no tax and the woman said it i get stopped just explain the whole thing, but i'm a worrier and i hate driving when i shouldn't be but what can i do, kids need to get to school and home.
Right i'm away to lift another one and then back in an hour to lift the last and i'm not movin all weekend and hopefully get my sister to take me back to tax office on monday.
And to top it all off, bills coming in thick and fast, nearly out of coal and have a fiver to last till monday oh and tax credits what 4 hundred and something pounds as well
Awwww think i should just go to bedthe sooner this day is over the better.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
KICK!!
I had to laugh when I came in, it's warmer outside than it is in my house, the cold blast of air that met me when I opened the front door was dead funny!
Right I'm going......0 -
DD is settled...I'm shattered and I hate Thundercats :rotfl: We've both had lunch and I'm going to get DD to lay down soon and have a sleep - might send her up to her room so I can get on with stuff down here. There's 2 episodes left on this DVD so I think I'll let her watch those while I go and hoover upstairs but first I need to go and joint a chicken, then roast the carcass and the other chicken (2 medium ones for £5 in Asda
) then I'll dig the hoover out and put a wash load on when I've hoovered upstairs. Once she's upstairs I'll wash up, and do the ironing while watching daytime TV I think.
Right, moving myself...wheres my roasting pan? :Wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Back from collecting littley. She has zonked out in the buggy but I shall only let her have half an hour (although she will be horrendous when i wake her up). That way she may sleep all night! Was up 4 times with her again last night:mad: . Just popped to shop on way home and have swapped my meal plan round so its sausage casserole for tea tonight. Will let her "help" me do the veggies, that should cheer her up. Need to hoover through, S & S bathroom after this mornings showers. Gonna put a chocolate loaf on too, I need comfort food my throat is poorly:D .
Well will hoover through that should wake her up (mean mummy! HE HE HE!!!)
Went to pop in post office but queue to the door so walked quickly in opposite direction, will try again later.0 -

Hello everyone,
What a lovely supportive thread this is!
Dustykitten - I like your avatar! The 30 minute challenge is a really good idea, and something I should probably do when I've got something in the oven. If I could just keep things ticking over, I'd be laughing! Oh, and I'm FULL of admiration for the ironing - that's just something that always gets left until last in this house!
embb - Thank you for your support regarding the reduction in my debts. I'm so looking forward to being debt free, and am actually in a position to buy a house at last. Wow - you have 4 children - I thought 1 was chaos - and girls are particularly messy, aren't they?
D&DD - You are making me laugh again over your bathroom and kid's rooms - definitely try to swish and swipe the bathroom in the mornings now, it does make a difference. :rotfl:
pigpen - You have made me feel SO much better when I read about the towels on the line - I suddenly realise I will fit in well here lol!
Solwaykid - I don't have much advice about an ADHD adult, but am sending you my good wishes. A young friend of mine has this condition, and she seems incapable of having a conversation that doesn't involve herself, so maybe there is a selfish side to it.:hello:
Rach - along with everyone else, I hope everything is going well for you today.:hello:
gunsandbanjos - mouse? *shudder*
nicki - big hugs for the nurse as well as the little - don't forget to look after yourself as well while she is poorly
lil-me I hope you are feeling better :hello:
shell2001 - well done with the parallel parking - wasn't something that was tested when I took my test, and therefore I'm rubbish at it! :T
vanilla - hugs to you:j
I'm interested to see that several of you carry things over from previous days. Is it the recommended way to try to get everything done each week, or is it best to just to what you can each day when you first start?
So far today I have:
Swished and swiped toilet/sink after yesterday's lovely clean!
And...erm... that's it....
However, I'm about to fold and put away two week's worth of dried washing that has been hanging around the house, and has been dry for more than a week!
Then I'm going to cook/eat/wash up lunch, and then I'm going to tidy my DD's room before vacuuming. It's usually her responsibility, but she's been boarding this week, and has a friend over after school, so I'd better do it. Will then vacuum in there  Can't remember when the vacuum last saw the floor in there.....
Have a good day everyone.

I don't know why my stupid father didn't let them take them out when I was 7 like they wanted to!! They have been nothing but bother since I was about 4.
