  • morning all.

I still feel in a good mood, so the plan today is to maintain that mood, work my socks off with the school work, in my part time hours actually leave the school site and pop to see my mum at her shop and get a few xmas pressies when i am there. oh - also said i would go and see the 6th form leader with my brother and try and sort out his EMA pay as he is owed about 700 quid from september, and they want to pay him only 3 weeks of that.

charlie is supposed to be going to nursery in his PJs today for children in need. I have said no to that one as it is far too cold to be in PJs all day, and i can't guarantee they would not let him play outside in them, and you can guarantee he would fall and put the knee through.

I've managed to empty the big airer this morning of all the foldable stuff, and it is friday :T and i am not behind.

Have a fabbie day everyone. Will be looking forward to reading what you have got up to when i get in tonight.

Time to make some pack up and get dressed anyhow.

    Michelle, x
  • Morning all.
It was so nice to wake without the alarm clock this morning. I don't think I've done that for a couple of weeks and I feel calm and energised today. The sky looks clear so I'm going to do some garden tidying and put up the bird feeders my uncle made for me which have been sitting tantilisingly empty on the bench outside since September. Poor birdies..
I also need to ring a few of my direct debit people to see how easy it is to change my payment date to the start of the month. It's this time of the month that I go adrift thinking I have more money 'til payday than is actually the case.
Also play catch up in the bedroom, bathroom and spare room and the usual washing and ironing and maybe make some things for the freezer.
Mr Messy is coming for the weekend, I'm kind of getting used to his ways but he drives me crackers some times. To be honest I'm struggling with this relationship. You lot know a lot of stuff, can I ask..He was told as a teen he would probably grow out of his ADHD but hasn't (he's 41). I've never met anyone like him and I don't know whether I'm just accomodating his excuses for not being that interested in my side of a conversation for example. ADHD in adults, any pointers?

Right off to get into my scruffs for the morning and make a start.
Have a good day all. Back at cuppa time.

Playing catch-up today, I MUST do the bathroom it is quite gross in there. Thinking about leaving the kids beds till next week though, I can't seem to handle doing them every week... fortnightly is better for me unless they spill something on them, then they're ok.

Littley's going to stay at her nanas tonight and no doubt teenie will be sleeping out too so another Friday night alone in the house (except for OH but he doesn't stay over) but that's super fine with me it's so peaceful.

  • Anyone else having trouble with the site today? Just phoned my work and told them i was sick, i hate letting people down, but they are always so nice. Have to think about it from the customer point of view too, i work in a restaurant, i wouldn't want someone with a streaming cold bringing MY food:rotfl:
Will try and be productive at home instead, have done some of my ironing, and i will clean the shower when i'm in it.
DD bedding is already washed and is now in the TD, will tidy her room when she's at nursery.

G&B The page wouldn't refresh so I opened up another window and it seems fine, maybe they were doing something for a second.

I've done all I have to downstairs, need to head upstairs now, I'm flying today. I wish my nose would stop running tho I'm frightened to bend over incase I drip and these cold sweats are horrid too!

Solway If I had an electric blanket it'd be on too, it's not granny-ish if you think about it, it's common sense. Oh and :rotfl: @ the bits of dead mouse, that tickled me.

Off upstairs, will catch you later when I've finished!
  • just glanced round my living room door and there's a mouse sitting looking at me:eek:

Morning everyone. Michelle I had the same issue when my DS2 was in nursery but what I did was put his PJ top on over his nursery jumper. Solway, I'll drop you a PM in a mo about the ADHD thing, might help.

Well so far I have drank 2 coffees and eaten toast since the school run, filled the dw and cleared up from where others have dumped things in the sitting room and that is about all..must get a wiggle on and do something..upstairs will have to wait until DP is up.
One day I might be more organised...........
