Spent £38.44 in total which means I only have £15 left for the rest of the month. £4.51 was for stores but perhaps I didn't need the wine and ice cream...
I've plenty in the fridge and freezer so it's perfectly doable as long as I stop buying myself little treats.0 -
Since last post we have spent £19.55.
Tonight for dinner I'm having yasai itame.
OH will be having cream of tomato soup with toast.
£141.14/£182.

It’s the Jam Crumblie recipe from 2012: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=52524859&postcount=561
Many thanks. I spent a fruitless half hour this morning, trying to find it and ended up posting a request on the forum. I now have a PDF safely stashed and have just taken the Jam Crumblie out of the oven. (Incidentally, Elsie, I don’t know if you can edit it but the recipe has microwave cooking instructions. I bake mine in the oven at 180C for 20 minutes.)
In other news, I’ve got 3 spends to declare: Friday’s trip to Lidl, where I bought butter, brown sugar and another salmon en croute, spending £15.18; yesterday’s “let’s-drop-into-MrT’s-on-the-way-home” after a boozy-for-me lunch at a friend’s (bought pizza and a couple of other items for £6.74); and today’s buying of the paper and two more YS items for £4.62. These three spends bring my total for the month to £86.68/£142.20, leaving £55.52 for the remainder of the month.
Many thanks.

Morning everyone... Sneaking back in after being rubbish at posting this month. I’ve been great at overspending though
Have kept the same target as Jan as I missed it last month. I thought I’d have a better chance of hitting it (£278ish) as Feb is a short month but no - have managed to spend over £100 a week so far0 -

Done! I added a note next to the link - it's on page 8
All other budgets up to date.
I have been carp at posting again this month - I think I'm just about still in my budget but I still have a full week to go before my new budget starts. However, I have enough in for breakfasts and lunches this week, I have frozen meals that I'll use for dinners, and I reckon I'll just about have enough extra fresh and storecupboard bits to see me through. There may be a couple of little bits like a couple of bananas or a broccoli or something, but negligible.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old Style, Crafting and Techie Stuff boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Good morning everyone
I thought I had posted yesterday but post doesn't seem to have appeared.
I have been absent for quite a few weeks due to health issues.
Not been eating much and cooking less so budget ok but meal plan rubbish.
Hope to get back on track as health improves.0 -
Hope you feel better soon, Highland Fling. Planning, cooking, eating - all a bit much when you're a bit below par.Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0

2 spends to add to my tally - a £54.33 storecupboard stock up and £26.15 on fruit, veg and dairy for the next week. It doesn't leave much left for the next 10 days but I shan't need anything until the end of the week when we'll run out of bananas and bread flour (the one thing I forgot to get).
