I vote for putting white vingar in a spay bottle with some water. I spray this on the screen and rub over all and leave few a few mins then use a pad sponge and it comes right off. We live in a hard water area and it works a treat for me!

Only read a few of the replies to this, but does anyone else use Dove soap?

I read somewhere that it's excellent to clean the shower screen, and I just done it today, and it worked really well.

Done it while I was in the shower, got some soap on my hands and just rubbed the screen, then rinsed it with the shower. Came up lovely and clean :-)
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

I like many others, use mix of white vinegar, star drops and water, spray then either rinse or gently rub of with one of those silver metal scourers , then a very little bit of baby oil to shine up the metal surround, and buff with a soft cloth. I then intermittently spray the mix post shower and leave to the next shower where I rinse off, works wonders as I live in a hard water area.

If you can afford it, and only once you have cleaned up the shower, see my thread

Empty the kettle, pour in a bottle of vinegar.

WATCH the kettle as it starts to boil. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED IT WILL BOIL OVER AND SHORT OUT THE KETTLE.

 Oops, oh well at least I got a nice (new) clean kettle :rotfl:
Not all bad though - I sent my story to a magazine asking for cleaning disasters and got a stunning bouquet (and my letter published) :T for every cloud...

I am looking for some advise on what products are best for cleaning glass shower doors, i have tried cillit bang bathroom cleaner, a glass cleaner but the glass still is not spotless clean.
Sister in law suggested car polish but im not so sure as i was afraid it might score the glass.
so anyone offer any help please.

Maybe try vinegar to cut through the grease that showerscreens sometimes have.

I use the MSE OS mix of Stardrops, white vinegar, water and, if you want, disinfectant in equal parts in an old spray bottle. Use very sparingly. One spray onto a "J" cloth is enough to do half a panel.

    Hi bikeit,

Welcome! :) These threads have lots of advice that should help:

    Shower Screen Spray

How do I keep a shower door sparkling?

Once you've had more replies I'll add your thread to the first link to keep the advice together.
