Hello I am very new to this thread and after reading some of your posts wondered if someone could help me, I gat through quite a lot of the spray shower and tile cleaner, (the leave on stuff you spray on to tiles, glass panels, shower curtains etc) immediately after shower has been used, I think it is a deterrent for soap scum streaks, mildew etc. Any of you good people out there have a suggestion for a replacement, I want something I can just spray on and leave, I get through tons of the stuff and am looking to save some money and the environment in regard to cleaning stuff Thanks in advance. PS if |I havn't posted correctly pls can someone move my question.SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Hi there - I use this loads too. Sometimes if I can find it cheap I will stock pile it but the other alternative is to use vinegar. Unfortunately it does smell a bit! Hopefully someone else can come up with a better solution.Paid off mortgage June 2014 :j

I don't know about shower sprays, I'm sure someone with more knowledge will come along soon. However, after using the shower I use a rubber sqweegy thing and wipe the tiles with that. It reduces limescale a lot and keeps the tiles looking clean so I need to actually clean them with spray much less often.0

Simple and effective - fill a spray bottle with about four fingers worth of white vinegar, about one fingers worth of fairy liquid or similar, and top up with tap water. Spray a very small amount onto glass surface, rub over with a sponge (or cloth), and then draw a squeegee across. Do the same to the other side of the screen; wait a few moments, and dry off any remaining smears with a dry cotton cloth (e.g. a tea cloth works well, or even some kitchen paper). Simple, cheap, and the smell of vinegar doesn't linger for long ! Works well on windows, and car windscreens too - but don't over do it as the acidic nature of the vinegar can damage the rubber seals over time0
