i clean my shower door, glass panel and tiled wall, with the sponge full of soap after washed me and give it a good rinse. saves wasting all the soap thats left. those puff ball things are best.

also wash shower base with 2 tsps bicarb in 1/2 pint warm water. makes it sparkle.
  • Can anyone suggest a cheap way to make the equivalent to make a daily shower clean spray? At the moment I buying a bottle every two weeks and it is costing a fortune. I keep hearing about vinegar and such like, but I don't know what is appropriate for a daily clean so I don't have to physically clean the shower so often!

    Cheers.

Keep the empty spray bottle that you have and fill it with water and white vinegar - five parts water to one part vinegar and see how you get on .:):):)

I use an old shower puff and a tiny bit of shower gel (that I've had for christmas and is cheap and yuk and I wouldn't put on my skin :D ), I do a quick scrub while I'm having a shower.

Thanks for that. Is it worth adding any bicarb or will the white vinegar do the job?

Hi there trelore, this item has been talked about before on old style ;) . Have a look half way down this link shower page and also have a look here on this page. Although I suspect that the suggestions you have already been given are excellent.

Just had a brand spanking new glass shower door fitted as the previous one was broken.

It looks so nice at the moment and is positively gleaming, I just wondered if there is anything special I can do to keep it looking like this.

    Any tips anyone?
