    Hi Baby F,

In my book for cleaning showers it says 'remove hard water deposits on shower doors and screens by wiping with vinegar. Leave for 30 mins then rinse' So it looks like using neat vinegar, but I guess you could tryusing it diluted- for general use round the house I use a spray bottle with 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water and it keeps for ages.

    Hope that helps, sarah

Can any of you wise people suggest something for getting a shower door really clean? I have been trying all manner of products, but it never comes up as I would like it to. So I am thinking that something my granny may have used could be far more effective. Sadly she is no longer around so when I saw this 'old style' board I thought I would drop in and ask.

Thanks in advance for any advice :)

There is a much older thread on the same issue or shower screen spray is a more recent thread with loads of ideas on the very same thing:)

Have a read and one of us will merge this later on

Thanks for the advice guys. Am going to have a look at the other thread you recommended too and see what tips they have. Ive been using shower cleaner, glass wipes etc and the results have been dodgy so far.

I seem to remember Kim and Aggie using lemon juice and rubbing lemons on it. I hear that you can do the same with potatoes.
