A friend of mine has a rule for all guests: spray the shower door and squeegie at the end of every shower! It works though :rotfl:

    Hi,

Im a cleaner and I always use white vinegar in a spray bottle and a microfibre cloth. :)

Do you any tips for cleaning the grooves of the shower screen when they are curved, please?

I have little brushes from Lakeland, but they are too short to get every bit.

Neat washing up liquid rubbed on and then rinsed off a while later.

  • I live in a very hard water area too
I tried everything in the supermarket which says it removed limescale, vinegar, lemon juice & tcut. None worked for me
Now I use a mixture of 10grams of citric acid to 100ml of warm water. Put it all in a spray bottle - limescale comes straight off.
  • Sorry to hijack, but will this vinegar solution work on plastic doors as well? Or should it be only used on glass?
  • Also cornflour in warm water in spray bottle.

Astonish Shower self Clean sprayed on after every shower seems to put a waterproof coating on tiles, screen even shower curtain! I've found it excellent. (If you can train everyone in the house to use it!)

Its a paste that is used on car bodies, takes out small scratches but it is really good stuff and could probaly work well.
