most of the stuff you've been using is no good for limescale. Vinegar is good [white] or as suggested on the merged thread, squeegee it down every time, it'll build up less quickly.

I second spraying with white vinegar and leave for a few minutes. We also squeegee down after each use. We also live in a very hard water area but no limescale deposits here.

If you don't have an enamel bath (as it'll attack any weak points in it) toilet limescale remover wiped over can be useful - it clings so has longer to attack the limescale where vinegar etc can run off.

I use a solution of equal quantities of washing up liquid and white vinegar plus a tablespoon of washing powder put into an old washing up liquid bottle, shake to mix well, put on with a dry cloth, leave for 10 minutes and rinse well, finish by buffing with a microfibre cloth, it works like a charm.
Great for kitchens, tiles and baths too :)
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I clean mine once a week with Ecover Limescale stuff (in a spray bottle) and scrub the doors with this and the rough side of a bathroom sponge. When DH or I finish in the shower we spritz it with Method shower spray. Make sure you rinse the shower every time you use it so that residues from shampoo etc aren't left behind on the glass. I sympathise, we have hard water too and it's such a pain!!
  • I use the lime and grime cillitbang and one of those silver washing up scouring pads (not brillo pad).
  • I used to use limelite in my old flat, transformed the manky shower screen!
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

I use viakal around once a month with a scourer to remove the build up and then use a shower spray each time I use the shower, seems to keep the limescale in check.
