A few more days like this and it might help me shift some of this excess weight too!

Evening all
Up early but couldn't see the moon, too cloudyIt was much lighter than usual at something past 5 though, and the light was pinkish.
Restocked sales unit this morning
Took some stuff to the charity shop
Food from home
Made a list of frogs in my diary
First one dealt with - rang dentist's to check when my appointments are - I had to change the hygienist's one as I was ill, and they changed the dentist's one from their end, twice. Imagine my confusion!
Wrapped a pile of ebay sales, ready to post tomorrow
RM surveys stuff
Listed a few more things
Washing out on line, must put it on the airer in a minute to finish off overnight
Checked banks
Feel an early night coming on!0 -
Evening all.
Managed an NSD today. I nearly wobbled as I was on a training course and everyone was headed to the canteen but I nipped home and made a sandwich to bring back instead. :-)
Major frog done - Tax return submitted! :-D :-D :-D
Online banking done, but confusing as my spreadsheet says I have less money than my actual balance shows. Must look at again before it gets frog-like.
HWB at my desk instead of heating on
Dinner from stores.
Need to triage the freezer and eat up to empty ASAP. I keep finding puddles on the floor, but no sign of anything actually defrosting. Something needs looking at though.
Plumber No.4 has just messaged that he can't do our radiator. Oh well, at least he called I suppose. :-/
We (provisionally) booked a holiday! Only a long weekend, and a little more than I wanted to pay, but the timing meant only one day needed off school. I've put the holiday request form into school - fingers crossed they approve it!
Found an old Hudl, which I am going to use to read free magazines from the library. :-)
Feeling hopeful that we will be able to clear a complete CC this month. Just need to check budget until pay-day, but I'm pretty sure it can be done. :-):beer::beer:
Ooh, just checked my Tesco points, which I haven't for ages. There are lot more than I thought, so I'm thinking I can get a CADW membership ready for our trip away (I want to visit a couple of castles) , plus a couple meals out. That will make it feel like a proper break if so, so very pleased. :beer:0 -

Hi all!
Hoping you don't mind me joining in!
I am currently in the "discovery" stages and getting back to real basics for budgeting. So my small step (taken yesterday) was to pull off all of the transactions on my bank account and credit card for the last year so that I can get a handle on why there is too much month in my money.
This coming weekend, or an evening if I have the brain capacity (800+ rows of transactions!!!), is to start categorising.
And I've started a set aside for a surprise CCJ that I discovered two weekends ago. All the fun of the fair!
Wish me luck!Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017
Starting total on 02.07.2024 is: £42,497.40 | Current total: £42,267.39 (0.5% paid off)0 -

A couple of nice surprises! I also found some money sitting in Quidco that I'd forgotten to claim, so very happy. :beer:ShakeItOff wrote: »Hi all!
