    Morning all,

It's a STS for me again this week. I'm not best pleased with that but on the other hand it isn't a gain. I did buy a size 16 dress from a charity shop on a shopping trip with my aunty and I fit into it. Not a great fit but I fit into it so my goal is to lose some more and make it look good.

I'm just persuading my sister to start filling in MFP with me again as she weighs a lot more than I do and she will really suffer if it's a hot summer.

Take care all of you :)

    Morning

It's -1lb for me today and I'm now on the cusp of moving into the next stone category on the old scales :)

Dandy, well done on not reaching for the biscuits and I hope that bed and a book get you back onto a more even keel.

Vicky, congratulations on well and truly beating your target and have a fantastic holiday.

Sirens, enjoy lunch and shopping with your mum

Cranky, that's great about your new dress and good luck with persuading your sister. Part of the reason I needed to get a grip and try to lose weight now was because otherwise I will have no summer clothes that I can get into.

Munchin, well done and good luck with getting to the next stone down.

I've marginally lost the plot in the past couple of days (I went to the cinema on Wednesay so had pick'n'mix for dinner and had chocolate and crisps yesterday) but I think it's largely hormonal and I'm trying to console myself with the fact that the amounts of junk I've eaten are actually very small compared to what I would normally eat when I'm due on. I'm hoping that I can rein myself in and have a good weekend because I'm very conscious of the fact that I'm only half a pound away from completing the target I'd set myself for this challenge. I know that I'm still in a much better place than I was 8 weeks ago if I don't lose it but I also know that I'll be slightly disappointed in myself.

I have completely lost the healthy eating mojo this week so need to get more disciplined. Pastries and pizzas in France. Meals out this week and snacking on goodies and chocolate and wine I brought back from France for my family. On the plus side I have not gained but not lost anything either. Good thing I reached my target before going away.

We are away in a London visiting my mum next week and she will book lots of meals out. Mother's Day Sunday too so undoubtedly more temptations there. Am feeling a bit fed up of having to watch everything all the time to be honest but that is the only way I can stay in control of my weight. Always seems to be a reason why I cannot just stay home and on plan either.

I can definitely sympathise with that, trying to lose (or even just maintain) weight seems like a never-ending battle sometimes.

Same here. As much as I know that I should try to plan ahead and balance meals out with cutting back elsewhere it is always so much easier said than done.

I hope you have a lovely time away with your mum and that the meals out and other temptations aren't too harsh.

:cry:I think I'm going to count this challenge as a lost cause. My mental health is not great at the moment, I'm very stressed and I can't seem to stop the binge cycle. I feel guilty even looking at the title page of this thread. Why do I do it to myself. I've not weighed myself for ages but I suspect I am the same weight as when I started, if not heavier. I'll keep an eye out for the next challenge and consider it a fresh start.

Katie, don't feel guilty. You need to do whatever it takes to get yourself through and hopefully things will get less stressful and you'll be able to face the next challenge but don't beat yourself up over it if you can't.
    Take care of yourself.

    Hi everyone :hello:
Slinking in with another gain of +3lb, sigh, I find trying to diet so so hard. However, I have just ordered the new Pinch of Nom cookbook to see if it reignites my passion for getting healthy.

It's coming up to a tricky part of the year with Mother's Day, my 50th Birthday and Easter all in the next few weeks. I shall try my best but I am constantly sabotaging myself or allowing myself to be sabotaged by my loved ones. I'm not moaning I promise, just trying to get some awareness of where I am going to find it difficult and build some strategies to help.

I am going to make a short list of goals that can be achieved quickly to give myself a boost, not necessarily going on numbers on the scales but also the non scale victories that mean a lot. I will take some time this evening and use a brand new notebook to write them down as I am a sucker for lovely stationery, pretty notebooks in particular.

Hope you are all doing well, thank you Cranky for running this challenge. I hope you will do another one, I have enjoyed it very much xx

dumpling, I hope that the Pinch of Nom book works for you. As much as I'm still not sure about the whole craze of taking photos of your dinner and putting it on Facebook, one of my friends uses it a lot and some of her food looks amazing.

Best of luck with list of goals. I love pretty notebooks too, my husband often comments that they're too small to be of any use but they make me happy.
