I'm running in late to weigh in, heels in hand, hair all over. Put 2lb on this week - weighed in on Saturday instead of Friday. No surprise due to not sticking to my calorie budget, having a couple of 'out of control' days and doing very little exercise. So, 14st 3lb now. I want to get that 2 off this week.

Well done to all of us still going - remember to look at your achievements; sometimes we forget because we are so busy looking at all the ways we've 'failed'. Chins up.

Congratulations on the weight losses, big or small and welcome to Allie.

Well I am back from France and had the most fantastic time with my friend. Food is just exquisite over there and I think I have discovered the secret of keeping trim which so many of them do over there. They don't do junk food as a general rule and have a long lunch break (2 hours) middle of the day with a three course meal. Supper is a light meal.

We ate totally what we fancied but that involved quite a lot of salad, veg, fruit, fish and cheese. I steered clear of the breads and stuff but we indulged in the patisseries for the beautiful cakes on a few occasions and shared the most wonderful pizza with smoked salmon on it and a very very thin base. We drank wine every day but lots of water and loads and loads of walking. I have not put any weight on which is great but not lost either.

Off for my daily walk now as the sun is shining. Have a great day everyone.

Hi all, just a quick look in! I feel like I’ve turned a bit of a corner with my eating, maybe it was the illness, I don’t know, but I’m back to only eating once a day, which is a big thing for me and makes me feel more in control! So yesterday I had milky coffee and flavoured green tea throughout the day, then sausage meat stuffing balls in gravy, potatoes, cabbage, carrots and mixed veg, followed by no carb Bircher. Having basically the same tonight. Feeling better now and took the dogs out walking today so here’s to continuing in the same vein! x
    And welcome to Allie too.

    +2lb for me this week.
I’ve had to incorporate some carbs mainly due to not *ahem* going to the loo for 5 days (sorry if tmi). There’s only so much green stuff I can eat, so I have been eating some fruit and homemade wholemeal bread to give me the fibre I need. Having a weight increase is part of that but there are some things you HAVE to do!
  • Sadly, I'm +2 lbs . Largely due to the fact that i made loads of cakes for a fundraising event and I had to quality control them and eat the rejects.
The rest of this week I can write off due to a friend's birthday lunch tomorrow and a weekend away.
Will try harder in the next challenge.

Another STS please Cranky I'm also disappointed about my weight lost over the challenge but agree with Mrs Lottie and Cranky I'm 4.5lb lighter than I was at the start of the challenge at least that's going in the right direction

Unfortunately this week every good meal has been followed by eating carp :o no reason for it but it started Saturday and I haven't sorted out why in my head yet but will keep plodding on :)

No electric in my kitchen today meant cereal for breakfast and cheese and crackers with salad for lunch although I now have electric dinner was a beef sandwich. I worked from home today and have been picking for most of it so wasn't that hungry

    Hello
Popping in with a loss of -2.5lb) this week, am really chuffed as I'm usually in a pattern of loss then gain the next. Going to try to stick to it, but it is my weekend off which is always a challenge.
I've also had to put my c25k on hold for a bit, I did run 1 of week 5 on Monday, but I've had terrible pain in my outside ankle and have been limping since. Not sure what I've done but I thought it best to give it a rest for a bit, I'm strangely disappointed.

Hope the ankle heals quickly Sirens.
DH and I have been sugar free for nearly 3 weeks and last night we decided to be naughty and have a couple of scoops of ice cream each. Well today I have the worst depression I’ve had in months, i can only think it’s some sort of sugar crash? I normally reach for the biscuits when I’m down which is why I got overweight in the first place, but I’m going to read in bed and ride this out (and keep away from the kitchen!)

Is this the last week of the challenge? I'm really pleased with this week. Got rid of last week's 2lb and took 3 more off to boot. Been sticking mostly to 1200 (ish - and it's very ish!) calories and trying to move more.
So can I log - 5lb this week please! 20/14lb this challenge. I'm the lightest I've been in 10 years and finally crept under 14 stones! :j:D:beer:

I'm off on holiday today so I'm aiming to maintain for the next 2 weeks. Will take my scales with me so I can keep on top of my weight a bit. Must remember, portion control and veggies are my friends.

See you on the next challenge! :T:T

Well done VickyV brilliant loss, hope you have a lovely holiday.

I am off out for lunch and shopping with my Mum today, I'm treating her to an early Mother's Day lunch as I shan't see her on Mother's Day.
Not sure what she fancies but I shall try to stick to a jp or salad.

    Enjoy your day x
