Just popping on to post a - 1lb for the week. It's slowed down but still moving in the right direction so I'll take it! 10lb/11lb. I think! :)

    Good morning :hello:
The weight loss gods have been kind to me and so I am reporting a 3lb loss this week :D. I am delighted and hope it bodes well for my future efforts with SW.

Today my menu looks like this:
b - the leftover crustless quiche
l - my usual jacket potato, cottage cheese and salad
    d - full English breakfast
    s - fruit

I am very much looking forward to my meals today, my tummy is rumbling just typing it out :).

Well done everyone whether you have lost, gained or maintained. You are all fantastic xx

Well done Dumpling ! Sometimes it’s good to change to a different method of weight loss especially if you find one that suits you - have a good week-end .

    Evening All,

I'm snatching ten minutes whilst DGD has time out for being naughty!! She's staying tonight so I will be busy again once her time limit is up.

I had a walk this morning before she arrived. This afternoon we've been playing at Dancing on Ice - as best you can being on carpet!! She's also baked and we've been out for coffee with my Mum. DS came for the evening meal with us as DDiL is at a concert tonight. As DS is working I'm having the night off to babysit.

    Lunch: Scrambled eggs with avocado
Dinner: Pork steak with mixed peppers, peas and mushrooms
Treats: Coffee with cream. One single Roses chocolate.

  • Morning!

Quick report of a 2lb loss this week.

Had a stressful week with the ex on my back all week. Normally that would drive me to stress eat and drink but I made the decision to be stronger this time - he does not get to break my girls. So on top of my regular meals I have had this week - 2 chocolate egg and spoons, 2 glasses of wine.

My goal now is target weight (2-2.5 stone more) by August as going to Florida and want to buy loads of cheap clothes. Then spend the rest of the year losing whatever I put on from hols, NOT go mad at Christmas, then get toned for my wedding next July.

Well done to everyone for their efforts this week
  • That should have said he does not break my goals, not girls.
  • Forgot to say - I have moved to the next size down in jeans. I can’t fit into all of my jeans that are that size doe to size variations with different brands, but it made me happy

    Good afternoon all,

fit and freaky well done for your NSV (non-scale victory) jeans. The size variations are annoying aren't they? I have two dresses that have the same size label from the same shop but one fits and one doesn't...

dumpling well done. I hope you and Lee do well with Slimming World. You'll be able to encourage each other and as Lee likes baking he may be able to magic up some SW treats?

MrsLottie half a pound is still a block of butter worth of fat gone from your internal organs. Keep at it :)

Munchin I think there's quite a few of us on the scenic route, myself included.....

Yesterday I met up with a friend from school that I last saw roughly 40 years ago. We talked for 5 hours :rotfl: and we did go for a cuppa and a scone but we also walked round a local art gallery and a garden centre to walk off some of the scone calories hopefully. Other than that I've been mostly healthy eating although I haven't had as much veg as I usually have this week. Off to do the ironing now - that'll keep me busy for a bit.

Take care all of you :)
