Oh dear , I had a ‘bad’ day yesterday ! It started well enough with poached egg on one slice of toast , then a biscuit and a bowl of popcorn ,then 3 oatcakes and a cheese spread , all before lunchtime - I was like a thing possessed !!! But thats not all - on to the rugby match and the clubhouse was calling - I said no when Mr L ordered chips , mushy peas and faggots but then proceeded to help him eat the chips ! Obviously this needed to be washed down with a glass of beer. Half time and a nice hot coffee accompanied by half a Fry’s cream bar mr L had saved from Christmas. Now I had seriously lost it so made us a lovely sausage and onion sandwich for tea and afterwards had a large whiskey and lemonade .
Today I awoke with a very big headache due to lack of proper hydration and stupid food choices and to punish myself stood on the scales - +1lb. What an idiot and I really don’t know why !
Still onwards and upwards and off I go again - not eaten much today ( not feeling too good) .Need to try harder this week . Confession now over .0 -
Hmm. Rather like Mrs L I somewhat lost the plot this weekend. I was at my mums so v difficult to think of calorie counting. Had a couple of meals out and my ma doesn't skimp on the portion sizes! Also had wine and beer on Friday and Saturday.
So. I must now get back on track this week. I was going to weigh in on Wednesday but I might leave it until Thursday to give myself more time to shrink!
Well done to all you losers. :T
Time to get back on the right path.0 -
Good morning everyone
Slowdown, I think wine (well, drinks in general, alcohol or not) are the hardest to track and they add up to quite a lot. Back when I did W€ight W@tchers (I think everything changed about twice in the meantime....) a glass of wine was about 1/6 of my daily points... My parents could not understand why I suddenly stopped drinking red wine, but I've never been too fond of it and just didn't wanted to spend such a chunk of my points budget on something I could just as well skip....
MrsLottie I can fully understand how annoyed you are with yourself... Especially when you see it on the scales right after....
Rose Wood: funny how many steps ordinary housework can add up to, isn't it?
Cranky I see the list now includes metric too, so could you put me on the list with 3.5 kg? Thank you very much!
I think I know why I haven't lost any weight over the last few weeks... I just weighted my bread and spread and found that I had eaten much more than I thought I had over the past few weeks.... So back to weighting everything and not just eyeballing it....
So yesterday was ok-ish, could have been much better, but meals out are always tricky and as long it is a rare treat....
I took out my trampoline yesterday and did two 15-min sessions but I slightly overdid it as everything hurts now... So no jumping around for me today but will try to go back tomorrow.
What I had yesterday:
B porridge with an apple and a teaspoon of sugar
L salad, vegetables, chips and some sort of pancake with egg, cheese and veg (as my vegetarian option). Followed by ice cream and some bisquits
D apple with almond spread
E 30 min on the trampoline, half an hour walk
Plan for today
B bread with almond spread
L spianch and quark lasagne
D some sort of soup, bread
S half a brownie, fruit
E half an hour walk
have a lovely day everyone!Fashion on the Ration 2022: 5/66 coupons used: yarn for summer top 5 /

I've had two positive focused days consisting of multi grain hoops for breakfast, dinner was another bowl of hoops one day and beans on toast yesterday and for tea chicken tikka and salad in pitta bread and two biscuits each day with a cup of tea. I am having cravings as usual but I am not genuinely hungry, I love the feeling of succeeding and being in control it's just sometimes that stress kicks in and convinces me I need a treat in order to relax, it's not just dieting for me it's controlling my emotions and stress levels. One thing I tell myself when having a panic is that this feeling will pass it's not here for ever you'll be fine in a few minutes. Good luck everyone this week xWeight loss 6lb/16lb 10lb to goI spend an insane amount of time wondering if I am doing it right, sometimes I remind myself that I am doing my best....and that is enough0

Good morning fellow dieters :hello:
Monday morning again, the traditional start to the dieting week especially after a dodgy weekend. Actually I only had a rubbish Saturday as I was an :A yesterday. Haven't weighed though yet as I want to let the carb overload leave the system as it were.
My meals today are:
b - porridge
l - chicken and rice soup
d - jacket potato, cottage cheese and salad
s - orange and apple
Not very much veg in that little lot, could do better!
savesummore- I was very amused by the idea of a drunken crumpet, if that is all you snaffled whilst under the influence you have done really wellWhen I used to drink I would be like the Hungry Caterpillar by the end of the evening and hoover my way through the kitchen cupboards
.
Hope you all have a great week and make healthy choices 'cos we're worth it (tosses hair and runs away) xx0 -
I somehow managed -1 lb this week, despite rather vast quantities of alcohol on Friday and Saturday.
I may have had way too many wine calories but I have at least eaten sensibly.
I tend not to have breakfast but lunch each day has been mushroom pate and cucumber on toast and dinners were okay:
Friday - flat mushrooms topped with spinach, leek, home-made tomato/pepper/olive sauce and some cheesy breadcrumbs, served with home-made potato wedges
Saturday - home-made quorn biryani
Sunday - roast dinner, with far fewer potatoes than I would've liked
Best of luck to all for the coming week.0 -
Morning all!
Monday again - new week, fresh start and all that jazz!
My weekend could have been a lot worse. Saturday was a cafe lunch, but I snuck my own butty from home in... Then a sneaky slice of fruit cake mid afternoon, and a curry out on Saturday night.. I tried damage limitation by splitting 1 portion of boiled rice and a plain naan with my OH, and I only had 1 poppadom. I had enough calories left for 1 cider, but I had a second as well. Never mind. It probably wan't too horrendous.. I had been to the gym earlier in the day as well.
I was extra good yesterday to make up for it (apart from an essential hot chocolate mid afternoon to warm up), so hoping it won't have had a negative effect.
This week is going to be very difficult. Tonight we are having a date night, and using a voucher for a 3 course meal with prosecco. Oops! Then we're having my Mum round for tea on weds (will try and do something healthy), then it's valentines on Thurs... must be on my best behavior outside of those occasions!!
Todays plan:
B: 1 shredded wheat ( I swear this is a never ending box!), 1 weetabix, s/s milk
L: Ham and lettuce thin, hoola hoops puft (only 70cals), clementine, small sliver of fruit cake.
T: whatever is on the menu... hoping there might be a fish option for main, but I daren't even estimate the calorie content for tonight.Sealed pot challenge 11: number 5940 -
Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you're all feeling well. I've been running then I went food shopping as I'd run out of fruit and stir fry veg. Just a quick one today as I have to update the list then I need to go to the post office.
Take care all of you0 -

A quick check in before I go to work. My kitchen is covered in stepladders and dust sheets so have been having to improvise for meals today. My Mother only lives across the road so I took home made soup over and had lunch with her and popped into the supermarket and found a reduced salad that I can take to work. I don't normally buy ready made salads but got it for a pound and it will save hassle as I shall be going out before the decorator finishes. It's looking great and I am really pleased with the colour we've gone for.
I've managed to keep out most of the day. Tennis this morning and friends for cards this afternoon.
Lunch: Home made butternut squash soup
Dinner: Salmon salad with Charlotte potatoes.
Treats: A chocolate brownie and a chocolate ginger biscuit at friends house.
Still no more weight gone at moment though.Weight Loss Challenge 5/7/19 10st 6lbs
