The house was sold, to a landlord, for 87.5K...
Overall, not a bad deal in the end I'd say?

The original 115K asking price...was quite frankly, too high in my opinion. Once it was reduced to 100K, there was some interest and then again reduced to 90K there was even more interest.
Considering that recent-ish sales within the terraced row sold for 70K (End terrace in 2010) and 65K (the one next to me in 2013) 87.5 K wasn't too bad really.
I did pay £85,950 in 2010, which was at least 5K too high at the time, but, at least on paper I've gained £1,550:T:D

When it come time to change think early how you can maximise the potential of the place you are living in.0 -
I must point out that you should not have a fan heater in the kids room, A small Oil heater would be far safer.
But you should fit thermostatic valves on the rads in the new house (If not already fitted) and have your bedroom off, Or use the timer function on the central heating to come on at 7am. Find the manual for it and use it.0 -

I did believe the price reductions were at the right time and not too silly for the sake of a sale.
The sale price could have been worse- I was willing to take as low as 80K if it came to it, but much more happy to get 87.5K☺️
I spoke with him (the LL buyer) and his BTL PCM valuation was 500PCM giving him a 6.86% yield.
Oh well, everyone’s happy now😜
