Just shows you how pointless arguing on MSE really is - you don’t really know who you’re arguing with....
Lol.
I thought I was arguing with someone who was East European turned out he’s Scottish ( or so he / she says). A Scot doesn’t want to leave - now that’s news.
But hey ho he’s probably not even Scottish he might well be a Mancunian hey Mayo?A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

Nor do I give a !!!! if oads of people leave the U.K. cheap houses for the rest of us, more space on the roads and on trains, more places in schools, less queues in A and E and GP surgeries.
Bye, bye.
But what about that large amount of body bags you claimed the government were ordering in case of a no deal brexit?BACKFRMTHEEDGE wrote: »Which all sounds great. Until you realise they are buying large amounts of body bags. I wonder if they have bought enough?

How is Barnier a sock puppet? He's a negotiator with a transparent mandate, and is acting within that.
Sock puppet definition - 'someone who is controlled by another person and made to say or do things that person wants said or done:' Cambridge Dictionary.
Seems accurate to me. Barnier has a brief to work with given to him by the European Commission. He has no authority to depart from that brief and, as you say, acting within his mandate. He's a sock puppet. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

So that means pretty much everyone with a job is a sock puppet?

I was attacked for having a foreign sounding username (it's Germanic), and definitely treated differently due to my accused foreigner status.
I've never confirmed my place of birth, beyond having lived in Glasgow for nearly 40 years and having a British passport, but that's never stopped the xenophiles trying to imply I'm not allowed a say.
Where am I from? It doesn't matter, I can vote here. :beer:0 -
He said, she said. All I see is a lot of bickering.
What about the next stage of Brexit. The negotiations with the EU. Doesn’t anyone here care that Michele Barnier has openly been briefing his Political masters the EU27 on the next stage.
While showing his cards is how it has always been surely you quitters have something to say about it.
Just to repeat the link to ALL the slide presentations.

I think we're all beyond caring. If we leave without a deal with the EU who gives a !!!!, as a previous poster said. We'll deal with it. The Tories won a land slide. People knew what they were voting for. They want to leave. They are sick of listening to the EU. I sure am (and I voted Remain and LD). And if people want to leave this country that is fine with me too. More space for everyone else on the overcrowed tube (every cloud).
And who is Barnier? Who voted for him? What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
