Extremely simple, stop remoaning. Get real and accept the fact that the UK is leaving the EU, accept the fact that Conservatives has won the GE.

    Done that, now what?

I'm not responding to the rest because I responded to it the last time you pasted it and you ignored it.

Brexit is going to be awesome! I cant wait until we're free of the shackles of the EU. Already got my British lager ready to celebrate leaving.

I have irn bru for blood, I thought I'd try something different.
I might even go down to Wetherspoons to join in the national anthem at 11pm.
  • What are peoples thoughts about the NI protocol?

If you had a GB based business that dealt primarily with EU, do you think you'd consider moving production to NI? Or do you think it wouldn't make much difference?

This under the assumption that the business wouldn't upstick to an EU state and that there will be some form of trade agreement by 2021(?).

It is not reflected here where you keep harping arguing that Brexit is a bad idea.

People could now say go to hell with the EU single market..

Hopefull the capital punishement is brought back in the UK

And hopefully there is a movement to take all the people who let the UK to be humiliated in the first round of negotiation those who tied up the UK negotiators hands during negotiation to be accountable. There should be a public enquiry seeking a possibility of treason charge for these people. Keep in mind these people took part in the referendum those people took part in the GE.

What's the criteria? Are the ERG and DUP included in this witch hunt? After all we would be out the EU and a nearly a year into future agreements if they voted for it first time.

Yes, nothing just regres and back to Victorian era.
All world go forward, UK go backward.
I know Brexit is a new religion, faith that after Brexit there will be British Empire again.
And it will be like 100 or 150 years ago.
I know that you can believe in various things, including that the land is flat, that there was a guest who walked on the water and grew wine :)
But who will you blame if the new religion doesn't come true? There will be no new empire, there will be no happiness and eternal satisfaction.
This whole topic is devoted to how it will be after Brexit, what will be better and what will be the new possibilities. And none of Brexit supporters can write anything but slogans so banal that it's hard to believe that people buy it.
  • Hypothetical post.

Has anyone read the book Sapiens? IIRC he discussed a future break up of a.Scotland/uk and b. EU.

A lot of this was due to climate change increasing migration to southern Europe and N.Europe unwilling to take them in.

This lead to an eventual reform of a northern/western states European union and a Scandinavian (inc Scotland) union.

In this hypothetical situation where do you think the UK would look to, would it join one of these?

Would someone who voted leave mainly to stop FoM, find FoM more acceptable from just western Europe?

As far as I can tell it's ok if we moved there, but not if they move here.
