It seems N Ireland will de jure be in the UK but de facto in the EU. Must be a bitter pill for the DUP to swallow but apparently they'll be given a healthy bung not to rock the boat. Scotland next!
We send the EU £350m a week.
Let's fund the DUP instead.0 -

Which is ironic, because NI will be better off in the CU than outside it too.0

I predict there will be a deal in place. Will those 20 labour rebels who stated they wanted a deal with the EU come through?
I can imagine Corbyn and his mob will threaten them with something.
Let's get this deal done! and move on!
There's not going to be a 2nd ref, so get that out your headsRyan0 -

The problem for Labour MPs is that this deal is going to be worse from their point of view than May's was, fewer protections in terms of workers rights, regulatory divergence etc.
That said I can still see some of them voting for it (I doubt it will be as many as 20), as some of them just want to vote for some form of Brexit before they have to go back and face their constituencies in the next election.
If Johnson can get the DUP to back some form of NI only backstop then that would go donw as one of the great political miracles of our time! If he can get unanimous support from Tories + DUP my feeling is he stands a fair chance of getting this over the line.0 -
Does he still have the numbers with just the Tories + DUP?0

Needs about another 22 I think.
Could probably win over some of the ex-Tory Independents selling his deal as a way to avoid No Deal, and offering them a way back into the party if they support it.
A few other Independents might support it, and after that you are looking for some of the Labour Leavers.0
