Looks like de Pfeffel is going to throw NI under the bus.
With Scotland heading for a 2nd ref and support for indy over 50% and climbing, that's the end of our Union then. Well done brexiteers.
  • It doesn't matter what deal Boris comes back with. The remainer majority will chuck it out but at least they will have nowhere to hide any more. No more pretending that they don't want to leave without a deal.

I'm hearing up to 20 Labour Mps will support a deal if presented to parliament on Saturday

Interesting news tonight , maybe there is a way forward at last?

Let's get this done. Especially when there's an anti-democratic march in London on Saturday. How hilarious that would be if the deal is passed in the middle of the march.

SNP was formed before the EEC was even dreamt of.

Decentralisation and national identity is the way forward.

With a GE pending. Likely that they are heading for deselection anyway. The rifts in the Labour party are very real.

It was going to happen anyway - the brexiteer's catchphrase.

    Likewise a united Ireland.

Is Spain heading next for a crisis?

    Then there's the Balkans.

    Old rifts never close completely.

No idea what that's got to do with the price of cheese.

If it's that the World will keep on turning whether or not the UK leaves the EU then thanks for letting me know.

It is understood that the negotiating teams have agreed in principle that there will be a customs border down the Irish Sea. A similar arrangement was rejected by Theresa May as a deal that no British prime minister could accept
    .
It seems N Ireland will de jure be in the UK but de facto in the EU. Must be a bitter pill for the DUP to swallow but apparently they'll be given a healthy bung not to rock the boat. Scotland next!

That wise old owl, Michael Portillo, predicted that this whole Brexit process would consist of 90% of nothing much, followed by typical 11th hour EU politicking.

The 11th hour was in March so unless Portillo envisioned that the 11th hour politicking was going to take 6 months with scope for an additional 'technical' extension he called that wrong.
