    Or referendum 2 under Corbyn.

He’ll have to win a GE for that to happen.

And he’ll have to have some kind of policy position in order to win a GE.

Yes that’s what I meant winning a GE

What’s unclear about the policy position?

Even if ref 2 happens, it won't resolve the issue.

It will be a narrow win by either. If Leave wins again then back to square one.

If remain wins, then leavers will argue since 1st ref result was discarded why not discard the 2nd one too and have a 3rd one.

Genie is out of the bottle. Far better to get out of EU and then hold a ref in few years to see if people want to re-join.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

All you’ve linked to is what they are calling for while in opposition.

I think the only point to a confirmatory vote would be to have deliverable options as each option on the ballot paper, so that they can then be delivered in a relatively quick manner after the vote, I would say it should also be a bidning referendum that forces Parliament to do whatever the winning option is.

At present the only deliverable options are

May's deal or whatever it gets tweaked to after further negotiation
Leave the EU with no deal
    Remain

    Just to confirm that
Asked if Labour was now a 'Remain party', Corbyn's spokesman says "No...we are not in that zone".
Spokesman for Jeremy Corbyn rejects suggestions that Labour is now a Remain party: “We’ve never said that. We’ve said we will campaign for Remain against a damaging Tory deal or against no deal, but there are other circumstances that could occur.”

Brexit isn't a party political issue for anyone other than whatever group of Brown Shirts Nigel Farage is currently frothing up, and the Yellow Tories (formerly known as the Lib Dems).

Back in grown up adult people's political parties, they are roughly split. Slightly more Labour voters want to remain than leave and slightly more Tories want to leave than remain.

I don't think many people want to leave with no deal.

I think you underestimate how strongly a lot of people feel around Brexit (and other Labour issues) at the moment, I used to be a Labour member, I held my nose and lent them my vote in 2017, no chance of me voting for them again under current leadership

What you think fortunately ain't worth a damn.
In the EU elections The Brexit Party - only months old - basically wiped the floor with everybody except the Scots standing purely on a Brexit at any cost promise.
Have a look and remind yourself just how many voted.
It's a heck of a lot for "not many" as you think.

When this lot of MP's decide that they still can't agree how to leave and call a general election, The Brexit Party will have a field day because this time there'll not only be time to plan the campaign but there will be good reason too - and we know how effective Farage's campaigning can be.

    Don't say you weren't warned.

So who will you be voting for?

I’m a disaffected Long time Tory voter and will be switching to Lib Dem as there’s a two horse race is my constituency and Lib Dem have won before. I’d have to think harder if there were more than two choices, but there isn’t where I live.
