Which anti-ship missile system has a 500 mile range?
Oh and HMS Prince of Wales has been launched and is due to start sea trials this year.
So I’m concluding you’re wrong. Many nations are investing heavily in anti-ship missiles. China can produce hundreds of its DF-21D ballistic ship missiles for the cost of a single carrier. The Pentagon estimates the range of such a missile is more than 1,000 miles.

Whilst Saudi Arabia has a supply of these missiles Iran doesn’t.0 -
That is just wishful thinking to justify brexit "we're not xenophobic, we needed to get out for financial reasons". Yeah right. Maybe wave a kipper and some people will believe you
Oh, look. It’s one of our embittered remainers. Have you got any more friendly words for JRM's family?0 -

True, and what are you proposing we do differently?Enterprise_1701C wrote: »A lot of the eu trade deals have not included services, we are a service based economy, we will be able to negotiate trade deals that include what we need.
Ah. So do you have an example of one of these trade deals with services we could get?Right, anything we produce to export into the EU will have to follow their standards but anything for consumption in this country can have the standards reduced so we die earlier of cancer.
But we'll only produce stuff to dual standards where there's sufficient demand - it doesn't always make sense to run 2 production lines to make something where we need to avoid contamination.
We could get away with it for something like cars, where we'd just fit cheaper components to domestic products but then we'd still need to warehouse 2 sets of part numbers and the EU would presumably require more spot checks to make sure what we're exporting is allowed. The Eurozone is in serious trouble.
So in what ways are we better off outside it? We'll still be reliant on it since it's on 3 sides of us and our nearest neighbours by far, with most trade going through it.
We'll no longer by able to try and steer it, too.0 -
If Remoaners were in charge, they would have never sent rocket to moon. Because it does not make economic sense!
Maintaining status quo always seem easy though not necessarily the correct thing to do.
Now even poorer nations like India can send rockets to moon yet UK/EU can't do that!Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
No I wouldn’t send a rocket to the moon, whilst people were starving on planet earth.
I wonder what the co2 footprint was for that?
It called priorities
The name calling is tedious and does you no credit (offence not taken).0 -

It is good to release some CO2. Else plants can't do photosynthesis and can't release oxygen which we need to breathe
No CO2 = humanity diesHappiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -

Of course. If this is your level of understanding about the effect of the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere, it explains perfectly why you think brexit is a good idea.0 -

If you don't like stupid people like me having voting rights, you are free to exercise your Freedom of Movement and move to a EU country.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
