Do you think Richard Branson is politically motivated?or an idiot?

Didn't option 2 already happen, but no-one noticed?
Well, almost no-one

Expect same on Oct 31st
I may be getting confused with something else, but didn't the EU say something about not extending again unless there's a good reason to do so?
If so that could make a big difference to the next deadline.0 -

I gather he has applied for leave to appeal after he lost his case.0 -
So at the moment (appeal pending) the situation is that the legislation was amended lawfully, so theoretically it could be done again.
I agree with the point about the EU.
If I was them I’d be saying - just go then, we’ve have enough and have spent enough time and money already, close the door when you flounce off.
No doubt our position is weakened.0 -
I think that's what we're at - no further extension (to June 2020 I think, it was offered but May wanted a shorter window) without a good reason or change of government. We've wasted another 3 months from the last deadline shuffling chairs.
So hopefully the EU stop wasting everyones time and cast us adrift before welcoming us back to the table to negotiate like grown ups.0 -
I have just read about the Russians allegedly trying to finance the Italian Northern League party, which got me thinking : I wonder if Brexiters ever wonder why Putin is pro Brexit??0
-
Brexiters are very confused about whether they like Putin or not. He's right wing, authoritarian and conservative, which they love. But he also seems to fail to recognise England's awesome greatness and global importance, which they're not so sure about.0

Meanwhile for those interested in reality...they should have a glance at the FT's weekly brexit update.....
No crumbs of Brexit hope from new EU leaders
A new EU leadership team is preparing for office in Brussels. The chances that they will support more generous Brexit terms for a UK government led by Boris Johnson or Jeremy Hunt lie somewhere between remote and non-existent.0 -

I do not think many people deny the short term impact on UK economy, but so is the EU. UK have been in the EU for a few decades, so leaving will have a short time impact.
But what about the long term impact ??
Also keep in mind here democracy here is at stake. Democracy is priceless, no money could buy. Let alone it is just a short term impact ??0 -

That's taking a complex question & expecting a simple answer. Exactly what got us into this state in the first place.0
